"Please welcome our youngest and newest pro dancer Ellie Daily" Zoe ball said introducing her segment
"Hello" Ellie said smiling
"So this year your partner is Josh, but today we're getting to know you more as our newest pro" Zoe smiled "some fans have sent in questions for you and you can just tell us about your life really" Zoe laughed
"So I first started dancing at the age of 4, my mum was taking me to dance lessons for ballet, jazz and street. I did that until I was 10 and when I was 10 carried on with street and started contemporary and lyrical. And then at 14 I started Latin dancing" Ellie smiled
" so you've dancing for 16 years now" Zoe smiled
"I have, did ballroom at 15 and then competed at 16 and became Latin and ballroom national champion. Then at 17 I was a backing dancer on fours for people like little mix" she said proudly
"And think about it your only 20" Zoe smiled "So how about growing up, how was that" Zoe asked
"My mum had me when she was 17, which was hard for her obviously. But when I was 2 so she was 19 it was just the two of us,and obviously support form grandparents and stuff but I didn't really have a father figure" she said
"So did dance help you?" Zoe asked
"Oh yes, when I was 4 I started school, and I didn't really know anyone because I went to different nurseries and obviously all my mums friends hadn't had children yet, so I made a few friends and we always used to make up dance routines when we were playing outside" she smiled
"Ellie that's lovely, your such a strong girl now let's have some questions" Zoe said
Whats your favourite dance?
"I love them all, but I would have to say cha cha or rumba" Ellie
"So your a Latin girl" Zoe asked
"Yes" Ellie laughed "don't get me wrong I love ballroom but latins more me
Who are your dance idols?
"Erm Shirley Ballas, since I started Latin I've looked up to her lots and lots, also of course my fellow strictly pros" Eloise smiled
Did you watch strictly before you came on the show? "Yes I've watched it ever since I can remember, for example when I was watching it at the age of 5 I was watching Anton, and then when I was 14 there was dancers on it that still are today and I find that so surreal" Ellie smiled
If you could choose any person to have as a partner, who would you choose? "Got to be like Tom Holland, or a footballer" Ellie smiled
"Any in particular" Zoe laughed
"Well maybe, like Jack Grealish, Declan Rice" Ellie smiled blushing
"Now gorgeous it's your last question" or said
So this year your partnered with Joshua Bassett, if you wasn't partnered with him who do you think you would of been partnered with?
"Good question, I don't know any of them" Ellie laughed
"Apart from Jason because he's double the height of you" Zoe laughed "I think maybe HRVY" Zoe smirked
"Maybe, I don't know I think we're similar heights" Ellie smiled
"thank you so much to Ellie for coming in the show today, she will be on again tomorrow with Rylan joined by her dance partner josh" Zoe said signalling for Ellie to leave the set
She got her microphone taken off and looked at her phone
