Marshall POV:

I could feel sudden warm light gazing through my eyes. I opened them slowly and couldn't help but rub them with my paws.
It was already mid morning and I've had a good night sleep like always. My mind is still trying to process the dream I had, but I can't really remember what it was about.
I went inside the lookout to get myself some food.

I accidentally tripped on Rubbles dish and crashed in the elevator.

*Sigh* Classic me.

I picked my self up and had a bite. Just after finishing my food I noticed that I haven't seen anyone yet.

I wonder where they are?

I should look for them.

I tried to look for them at the second floor but they weren't there, nor the lounge room or the front yard. But I did notice a white and blue colored snow cat parked in front of the garage.

I suddenly felt pretty excited for some reason. I hurriedly trotted to the backyard.
Just around the corner I could here laughter and giggles, and one of them I recognize.

I ran faster and made a sharp turn.

*Oof!*

I accidentally bumped into someone as I ran around the corner.

Marshall: Sorry sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!
I hurriedly apologized scratching my head not looking up yet.

???: No no it was my fault sorry!

However as soon as we both looked up I saw a lavender colored husky pup with icy blue eyes.

Marshall: o-oh! Everest! I didn't know you came?

Everest: Oh! Hey Marshall! Yeah I just arrived a few minutes ago.

???: ...8...9...10! Ready or not, here I come!

Everest: NO TIME TO TALK! WE GOTTA HIDE!

She said running off back towards the front yard as I followed after her a little confused.

Everest: Quick! In here!

Marshall: In my pup house?

I was kinda hesitating to let her in. I mean my pup house isn't that big to be fair.

We suddenly heard footsteps just around the corner.

Everest: Just get in!

She grabbed me and pulled me in before forcefully closing the door.

???: I heard you guys! ... I'm coming to find you!

The voice went silent and we heard the footsteps fade and went away.

We both let out a sigh. We looked at each other.
We were in a bit of a squeeze together. Our faces are pretty close to each other and it felt a little awkward to be in that position.

Marshall: Ehehe... This is... Awkward...

I whispered.

Everest: Hm? I don't mind. You're not someone new to me.

She casually whispered.

Marshall: So.... You're playing hide 'n seek?

Everest: We're playing hide 'n seek.

Marshall: Right. We. How did I get into this again?

Everest: Stop questioning it and shush. They might hear us.

Marshall: Right right. So how's Jake doing?

That's a good way to start a conversation. Good job.
