I Love and Hate your Eyes

After we wandered our hometown by the used of our bikes, we stopped in an uncrowded corner to witness the beauty of our favorite scenery—the fiery sunset that effortlessly kissed the turquoise colored ocean. We sat in a big roots of a leafy talisay tree that was standing tall and proud like a well-carved statue in a museum during baroque period.

I was staring at you intently that time with gaze overflowing of genuine love, pure attraction and extreme admiration while on the other hand you were busily smiling while capturing the picturesque view in our front. Your face was sparkling like a constellation of stars because the golden rays of the sun kissed your bare skin—funny may it sounds but I was jealous of how it simply touched you without my permission.

As the daylight slowly bid us it's adieu, you asked me if what's part of your face is my favorite and my most hated with serious explanations and reasons. I was surprised by your unexpected question, but still managed to answer it because I love you so much.

"Darling, my favorite part of your face is your tantalizing eyes because it paints great masterpieces of untold tales that always make my day more beautiful, but I also hated it when it shows stories of miseries and sufferings that always engraved a twinge in my soul—so unbearably painful."
