"He drives to school every morning

While I walk alone in the rain

He'd kill me without any warning

If he took a look in my brain"

I hissed at how loud the volume of my iPod was. The device on shuffle. Just so you know, the iPod is definitely not mine. Well... sorta, it was a gift from dad. I laughed at his attempt to put songs he thought I would like on it. It's mostly a bunch of consistent boy bands. Some of which has their whole album in there.

I could tell because I could hear the already familiar voices when the next song comes on.

I continued to make my jogging last because I was told I was heading for a very busy week. Well... at least that's what dad told me.

Whilst my mind was in an unbroken trance, my foot decided to fucking lose contact with my brain and caused me to trip, falling sideways. My leg sensing the pain and my knee became numb for a split-second. I inhaled sharply and let out a breath. I can already see a bruise forming there

As if on cue, A pair of firm arms grabbed mine and helped me up.

"Are you normally this clumsy?" He let out a dark low chuckle just behind my ear.

"No" I muttered to myself, completely embarrassed of my clumsy performance.

"I don't mind though" He practically whispered to my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"What are you-"  I spun around to see his face but resulting to fall flat on my ass.

"Ow" I looked up to see the culprit but only to be met by caramel brown eyes. I squinted my eyes at the sun behind him in an effort to see his face.

He let out another long low chuckle. "Like I said... I don't mind." He winked whilst holding a hand out for me to grab. "Liam. Payne." he said.

"Uh... huh." I took his hand but surprisingly tugged on it sending him down with me with a loud "oomph". I stood up immediately and limped, or sprinted, fast to the direction of my house. "bastard." I spat with a playful tone.

I ran inside, mustering all strength in my legs to carry me into our mansion. Yes, mansion. I immediately shut the door and turned my back on it and let out a shuddering whimper at the bruise on my ankle that was practically throbbing.. I think.

I heard footsteps down the stairs and looked up to him whose eyes became wide at the sight of me on the floor clutching my ankle.

"Whot have ye done?" he exclaimed in his famous accent.

"I-I erm."

He furrowed his brows at my ankle. "Tsk tsk"

He shook his head and rushed upstairs, leaving me. Douche.

I immediately took back my words as I saw him sprinting back down the stairs with a first aid kit.

"C'mon to the bathroom" He helped me stand upright and limped to the bathroom. He made me sit on the toilet and started cleaning out the wounded bruise.

"What have you gotten into now? I should really go with you when you jog early in the morning. I'll have exercise and get to see you in only shorts and a sports bra." he winked.

I slapped his shoulder and laughed.

"But seriously, I have to keep an eye on you, now. Maybe until you're ankle heals."

"But it's only a bruise."

"Who knows what could, happen babe."

I smiled. He was too sweet at the moment. "I love you, Harry."

A stupid grin creeping up his face "Love you, too babe."

"I couldn't have asked for a better best friend. You're perfect."

He paused for a moment but smirked. "You too."
