Sunsetting Goodbye
By:Valerie Katlyn

Watching the sunset;
So colorful to view.
Here I hold the plague;
As my thoughts fill of you.

Of the last time I saw you,
You hugged me so tight.
Oh how I never thought you'd leave.
I'd put up a fight.

Only now I feel the air brush on my skin.
Thinking to myself;
How I was lucky to have you in my life;
That was my all in mighty win.

I remember the smile on your face;
And how I had no words at all.
Only, you had troubles in this place.
Yet, you only wanted to catch me if I were to fall.

So, watching the sunset;
And now it seems to fade....
I only wish for one last goodbye;
Or if you would've just stayed.

Colors fading, as the sun goes to rest;
Goodnight sweet and pure angel.
That made me so blessed.
