Christmas

When times are tough, and unforgiving,

at least we know that Christmas is near.

To celebrate with loved ones,

and spread that Christmas cheer.

But for whom does Christmas come,

for the poor or rich ones?

for the sick, or the need?

To the ones that don't get anything, if they plead?

Much money is spent on toys,

to only steal from others their Christmas joys.

The ones that can't afford food on their plate,

the ones that are neglected, and put in a bad fate.

To much that had been spent on food and drinks,

others will starve, and their bodies will shrink,

starving for a piece of bread, and water,

helpless mother watching her dying daughter.

The doctor says her time has come,

but would you ever want this child to die so young?

To never have Christmas joy,

all because of her daddy's new little boy.

He never called, or texted her,

He left her sad,  but what happened to how things were?

That he had a son, and abandoned her.

Not one last kiss, or final goodbye.

His daughter is gone with a tear in her eye.

Don't leave out, the ones with less

cause god wants you all to be equally blessed.

Just give a hand to the ones who need,

to the ones who can't afford things on this Christmas Eve.
