John breathed in the fresh air, looking up towards the sun as it bathed him in light, keeping him warm. The lake water was halfway up his legs, up to his thighs. He held the book of Joseph in one hand, praying in his mind as he waited for the van to arrive with its sinners inside. People of Eden's gate stood behind him, near the lake bank, watching and praying for the new brothers and sisters that were about to join. A couple of his men were filling the lake with gallons and gallons of bliss.

Finally he heard the tires of vans coming to a screeching stop. He turned towards them with wicked grin. Slowly walking out of the water to meet his little bird in person. His men started to unload the sinners, lining them up, their hands bound and their mouths gagged. They all shared the same fearful eyes when John passed them. Finally he heard a familiar voice..... Your scream.

He watched in delight as you thrashed and fought when his men tried to get you off the van. His smile only widened when he saw the knocked out deputy being dragged out behind you.

Your screaming faltered when you caught the sadistic Baptist standing a few feet away, looking very neat like always. His hands behind his back as he watched.

"My, my, little Raven, look at you." He started walking towards you with long calculated steps while he looked at you up and down. "You look like a fighter now, independent." He clicked his tongue. You narrowed your eyes and cursed at him but it came out incoherent since you were gagged. He brought his hand up to your tight pony tailed hair, tugging at it and laughing when you snarled and tried to bite, making his eyes glow with excitement. "Welcome back my dear, the path still awaits you." The roll your eyes and the muffled curse, made him laughs again as he removes the ratty cloth that was stuffed in your mouth as a make shift gag. You immediately snapped your mouth shut, almost catching his fingers with your teeth, but because of his fast reflexes he pulled back just before. With a cat like grin he spoke to his chosen.

'Brothers! Line these sinners all up near the lake, let us start their journey towards the right path. Help them see the light!" The people of Eden's gate cheered and clapped as the resistance were forcefully taken near the blissed water. You were thankful that Sharkey, Hurk and Jesse were all in different regions. The people that were caught weren't that important to you.

Seeing John made rage rise deep inside you but also a knot of excitement and lust forming deep in your belly, already making you aroused.

One by one John's chosen started to baptize the people of resistance as John read from the book of Joseph... The book your parents forced you to read everyday since the age of ten. You knew each word and each story in mind.

Your head was fuzzy and your body light. You wanted to sleep but also run a marathon. Those damn butterflies and stars made you want to scream. Your body sensitive to every little touch, making you want to squirm out of it. Someone was standing behind you with a rifle in hand, as if you were the most dangerous killer.

Slowly most of the resistance were now “baptized” and by baptize you mean almost drowned to death, and Rook had started to wake... Finally. How hard had they hit him? Immediately two hunky chosen were on him, pulling him up to his feet, not risking giving him any freedom. He groaned and cursed but never fought them.

"You okay rookie?" You asked sarcastically with a laugh at the end when he grunted out his response, coming out muffled. Apparently you had caught the baptist's attention, making him look back while he read the lines from their holly book. "Well gotta suck it up soldier, it's all on you to get us outta here." Giving John directly a smirk as you spoke to the deputy.

"Bring them to me brothers!" He called out, now giving you a wicked grin. John extended his hands as if he's a saint, lovingly pulling Rook into his embrace. "I will save you deputy, wether you want it or not, wether you accept my kindness or not. No matter how small your sins are... Or how petty. You will confess them to me and you will reach atonement, only then shall you be let into our beautiful garden of Eden." Somehow it looked like Rook was leaning into the embrace, you couldn't see that well since you stood behind him.
