Chapter 17

I dodged and kicked when I could and they swung and kicked when they could.

I was just about to kick a man when chains where wrapped around my body and I was yanked to the ground. “Ha! We got her!” one of them said.

“Good job men.” then a voice from the bushes said “Now what do we have here?”

“She is a prize for you boss.” One of the men said.

I felt a finger underneath my chin and it lifted it up and I looked into the eyes of a man, his eyes were brown and he smiled. “Well, I must give you men credit. You have just defeated Adikan’s right hand. I have had my eyes on her for years.”

I growled and I said “As I told your idiotic men. I am no one’s prize!” I dug deep and I turned into water vapour and I went away from them.

“Dammit!” the leader yelled. I went through the air and I when I saw a lake I went into it. I saw Kishan and the rest come up to the lake.

I smiled and I made the water foam and they stepped back and Kishan said “What the?” I made my body become whole and I slowly rose from the water. The funny thing was that I was completely dry.

“Annie!” Kishan said. The rest stared at me with wide eyes. 

I shook and I said “Man that water is cold.” Jack smiled and Kishan walked up to me and hugged me.

I smiled and I looked at Robin and I said “Did you get my message?”

He nodded and said “Why did you want us to come here?”

I smiled and I said “Well I knew I had the powers of the elements and so I found the nearest lake and I landed in it. I also have something to tell you. I found out a new power of Drake’s. It is the power to heal.” I frowned and I said “And I am sorry about the fall. Turns out I was shot with two arrows. One in my side and one in my leg.”

I looked up and I said “I also ran into-“

Kishan frowned and said “Ran into whom?”

I pointed and said “Them.” Kishan looked and the bandits who ambushed me were standing a few feet away.

The leader came to the front and said “You have something of mine and I would like it back.”

Jack drew his sword and stepped in front of me and said “She will never be yours.”

The man smiled and said “I won her fair and square. She refused to give me her valuables but she killed two of my men and then my men defeated her and I claimed her as my prize. Now hand her over.”

I frowned and I put my hand on Jack and I whispered something in his ear. He looked at me and he nodded and stepped back. Kishan, Jacob, and Robin did the same. I raised my hands and I felt bursts of wind come out of my hands and the wind blew all of them away.

I turned to Kishan, Jack, Jacob and Robin and I said “Let’s go.” They took off and I took off after them. I heard a whistle and I ducked. An arrow longed itself in a tree then whoosh there was a line of fire between me and Kishan, Jack, Jacob and Robin.

I stopped dead in my tracks and Kishan, Jack, Jacob and Robin did the same. “Annie!” Kishan yelled. Then fire cages appeared over Kishan, Jack, Jacob and Robin.

“You see my dear I to have the power of the flame.” I whipped around and the leader grabbed my arm and my body erupted with flames. I cried out in pain and I knew that if I used water I would die. I fell to my side and I cried out in pain. I had to think quickly or else I would burn and die.

I forced myself to my feet. “You want me? Come and find me.” Then the earth opened up and I went through it and I was gone.
