Chapter 34

He smiled and said “Thanks.”

I smiled and I said “You’re welcome.”

I sat down and I sighed “You know I am going to have to fight him sooner or later.” I looked up and all boys had a frown on their face.

“Annie he almost killed you more than once. How much more can you take before he kills you?” Robin said.

I sighed and I said “As long as I am alive he will keep on coming back for me.” I said.

Kishan sighed and said “She’s right.”

They all looked at him and Alex said “Are you crazy? He will kill her the moment she is alone!”

Jacob nodded and said “Well Annie is very strong. I say we let her fight him. We can by her time so she can go in and kill Adian.” I smiled and while everyone but Jack went to get camp set up I climbed a tree and I fell asleep. I woke in the morning and I got down and I saw everyone was asleep.

I smiled and said “What would happen if we were ambushed?” I shook my head and a voice behind me said

“What an excellent question my dear Silent Blade. Shall we test that theory?” then a hand went over my mouth and I was yanked out of the tree and into the forest and I took out my boot dagger and I stabbed into the man’s leg. He cried out in pain and he let go off me. I stabbed him again and I ran back to the others. I shifted into a panther and I roared. All of the men woke up and jumped up when they saw a black panther staring at them.

“What is it Annie?” Kishan said

“I may not speak panther but I think she said that we are here and going to kill you and take her to Adian.” We all turned and saw ten men standing right behind us. I shifted into my human and as I stood up and man rammed right into me and the fight began. I took out my sword and I attacked the man. He jumped back and then he spun around and sent me flying again. I smashed right into a bunch of bushes and I went tumbling down a hill. The man and three other ran down the hill after me. All had evil grins on their faces.I stopped and the men threw many daggers at me as they ran down the hill. Two hit me in the leg and two in my side. I yanked out the daggers and I stood up half dazed and half awake.

“Not this time.” I said and I willed all of my fire power and I shot fire at the men. They all set a fire and so did the forest. I heard a cry of pain and I willed my powers to go the person who had screamed. Then I ran from the fire. The smoke began to enter my lungs and I began to cough. I heard snaps and crackles and I ran even harder and I stopped dead in my tracks. In front of me stood Adian. He smiled and raised his hand and the squeezing pain returned. I cried out and I fell to the ground. The fire was around us and he walked up to me and he put his hand on my forehead. I gasped as all of my memories disappeared from my head. My last thought was of Kishan. When he was gone the only thing I remembered was that five men named Kishan, Jacob, Jack, Robin and Alex were out to kill me and that my name was Silent Blade. I still had my knowledge of fighting and that was it. I blinked and I looked up to see a man smiling evilly down at me.

“Get away from her!” a voice yelled.

The man smiled and said “No problem.” He grabbed me and we were gone.

“No!” was all I heard when I closed my eyes and I blacked out.
