Chapter 39

I woke up and I was back in a cell once more. I was in a sitting position and my arms were chained to the wall, my legs were chained to the floor not the wall. I couldn’t move my legs but I could move my arms, but only a little. I yanked on the chains and I tried breaking them.

“Now you know doing that doing that is no use so why do you even try?” I looked up and I saw Adian standing in front of my cell. I watched as he walked into my cell and he smiled down at me. He croucheddown in front of me and he brought out a dagger.

He smiled and said “I have big ideas that I want to use on you Annie. Such big ideas. But how about we start out small shall we?” I closed my eyes and I cried out in pain as he stabbed me in the leg. I cried out in even more pain when he twisted the dagger and yanked it from my knee to my ankle.

I cringed in pain as he whispered in my ear “I know that was only a little scratch but that’s all for now. I will be back in an hour.” I gritted my teeth to stop myself from crying out in pain as he yanked the dagger out.

Then he added “Don’t hold back your screams. They are music to my ears.” Then I heard the clang of my cell door closing. I kept my eyes closed and I listened for any sound of movement or really anything. But all I heard was silence. I opened my eyes when I heard the door to my cell opened. I looked at my skin and I saw that it was beginning to turn light. Light as in I was dying. I sighed softly and

Adian crouched down in front of me. “Now I can move up a step and cause you real pain.” I looked at him and my eyes widened when he brought out a dagger I haven’t seen before. It was a dagger with two sides. One was electrical and the other was flames.

Adian smiled when he saw the fear in my eyes. “So I have finally broken you have I Silent blade?” I looked at him and I swung my body and I head butted him in the chest. He stumbled back and looked at me with shock.

I smiled and I said “Does that answer your question?” he frowned and in one sift move he brought down the dagger and stabbed me in the hip. I held back the urge to scream out in pain. The urge was harder and harder to hold back as my body erupted in flames and an electric shock went through my body.

Adian frowned and said “How about we change the rules shall we? When I torture you and you refuse to cry out in pain I will keep torturing you until you do. Ok?” I was too busy resisting the urge to cry out in pain to answer him. Adian frowned and he twisted the dagger and pushed it deeper into my hip. Tears streamed down my face as I was on the edge of giving in and crying out in pain.

Adian smiled and said “You’re getting there Annie. But I am afraid we are going to hurry this up before your men get here. I hate for them to be disappointed that I didn’t live up to my word.” He took out the dagger and he took out a small dagger and began to cut me everywhere. They were deep and painful and I still didn’t cry out.

Finally he got up and said “I’ll be right back with your final torture. Don’t die until I get back ok?”  He left my door open and I looked at my skin. It was very pale. I closed my eyes and when he came back.

I opened my eyes but barely. He smiled and just as he brought down a dagger there was a bang and I heard Kishan yell “Get the hell away from her!” Adian smiled and he stabbed me in the chest, very close to my heart.

I cried out but my cry turned into a soft gasp and he smiled and brought out his own daggers and he said “She’s yours if you can get past me.” Kishan looked at me and just as he took a step forward there was a flash. The flash didn’t seem to bother Kishan and the rest but it affected Adian. He screamed out in pain and he stumbled back.

Kishan had a look of confusion on his face and so did the others but then Kishan and Jacob smiled when we heard a giggle and also a big fat “HA got him!”

two ghosts appeared and the first ghost said “*Giggle* you said we were *giggle* going to do this formal.*giggle*”

the other ghost sighed like she was annoyed and said “Well if I had done that I would not have been able to do that. I can only do it every 100 years!”

she looked at the men and said “Oh your still here.”

the giggly ghost smiled and said “Well I say you *giggle*better take your lady and *giggle* get out of here boys.*giggle*my sister’s blinding entrance*giggle* won’t last for long.*giggle*” Kishan rushed to my side and while he unlocked my bindings Jack put his hand on me and began to heal my body.

The one ghost groaned and then laughed and said “And when you do get out of here it will take a very long time to heal her completely. I say about five days or more. Now go.” Jack picked me up into his arms and still haling me he ran with Kishan, Jacob, Robin, and Alex right behind him. When at the dungun door

Robin turned around and shot five arrows at Adian and said to the ghost that giggled. “You giggle too much.”

The ghost giggled and the other rolled her eyes. “Bat it arrow boy.”

Robin tossed a device that counted down from ten and he said “See ya ghost girl.”

The ghost’s eye glowed red and she smiled. “Oh I like this one. When he dies i get first dibs.” Then they disappeared and robin ran out of the house just as it exploded.
