I was flying for a long time when I landed soft but fast. Kishan, Jacob, Robin and Jack tumbled off of me and I collapsed to the ground.

“Annie are you-” Kishan stopped in mid-sentence as I shifted form. I became a white wolf and I was curled up and I was asleep.

“Oh Annie.” Jacob sighed.

“I don’t blame her. She had to carry us all day and fight Adian. Which reminds me. Won’t he after her?” Kishan nodded.

Jack then said. “She wasn’t strong enough to fight him. She only needed to delay him long enough to get out of there. Right now she needs to rest. In fact we all should. Jack and I will take the first watch.” Jacob and Robin nodded and they laid down on the ground and went to sleep.

Kishan sat down and started to stroke my white fur. “After all she’s been through she still turns into something strong and beautiful.”

Jack nodded and said “She truly is amazing. She was almost killed more than once. She has been cut, burned, cursed and left to die on her own yet she still comes back stronger than ever.”

“Yes indeed she does. It’s getting her to stay dead that’s the problem.” Kishan and Jack jumped up and whipped out their daggers and sword. The sound of Adian’s voice made me wake up and jump up. I growled and I lunged at him. I bit him in the leg and he grunted and stabbed me in the back with his dagger. I howled in pain and I staggered back. I lunged at him again and I clawed at him. He brought up his foot and he kicked me. The kick sent me flying and I smashed into a tree and fell to the ground. I got up and I growled and barked at him.

“Why won’t you just stay dead?” Adian said in an annoyed voice.

I shifted into my human form and I said “Like I have told you many times. It will take more than a couple of cuts and bruises to kill me.” I smiled as my wounds healed.

I brought out my daggers and I said “If you are as blind as I think you are I would look around you. There are five of us and only one of you.” he looked around and he growled and he threw an energy ball. I got hit by the energy ball. It had hit me in the chest and sent me flying into the air. I flew back farther in the air. I landed hard and I groaned and I sat up and I waited until my bones repaired themselves. I had no idea what that did but I sure did hurt.

I heard voices and I hid in the bushes. “She has to be around here somewhere. The boss said that she went pretty high. If we are lucky she will be dead.”

I stepped out of the bushes when they pasted me and I said “The only ones who are going to be dead is you.” they turned around calmly and smiled. Then I felt three pains in my back and I gasped and I fell to the ground. Crap it was a trap. The men laughed and started toward me. No. I was not going to be defeated so easily. I forced my body to shift and I took to the sky in my bird form.

“No! The boss said three darts would do the trick!” I tried to fly for a while and out of site of the men, but I was dropping fast. I was flying for about ten seconds before my vision became blurry. I soon found the nearest lake and I dove into it. I turned into a random kind of fish and I blacked out as I sunk to the bottom of the lake.
