My feet hit the ground and I ran down our road and into a nearby forest. I had no time to take any men. I was running for my life

I stopped a few minutes later and I thought to myself. “I am not a coward. The next time I see those men or the man who killed Adikan, I will kill them. I shall return to my home and nothing will stand in my way.”

I took one last look at my home and I put down my stuff and I brought out my daggers and I ran back to my home. I smashed through the door and one of the guards said “Thank god you are all right.”

I nodded and said “I am more than alright.” I took off up the stairs and I swung my daggers at the first invader I saw. He dodged and we danced, swing and dodging when we had the chance. When I swung he ducked and he swept me off of my feet. I landed with a thud. The man put his dagger to my throat. I was defeated and there was nothing I could do.

He raised his dagger and I prepared myself for death when a voice said “No, do not kill her yet. I have better plans for her. Grab her and let’s go. I got what I came for.” I was picked up and the figure came up to me.

I couldn’t see his face because he had a mask on. “Your master would be so disappointed in you.” I bowed my head to hide my shame. Anger built up in my body so fast that soon I couldn’t take it anymore. I swung my leg and I sent him flying.

I did a big flip and I kicked the man who held me in the wall. “Next time you won’t be so lucky.” I told the man. Then I ran from the place. I grabbed my pack and ran into the forest. I kept on running and soon I ran into someone.

“Will you watch it!” I yelled.

The person I had knocked over sat up and the man who was beside him said “Hey chill, he wasn’t the one running as if you were being chased.”

I got up and I said “I apologise I never meant to give you harm. And yes I was being chased. By an enemy. He has killed my master and has run me out of my home. I intend to get back at him as soon as possible. Once again I am sorry but I have to go.”

I turned and started to go when the man I knocked over said “Hey.”

I turned around and I said “What?”

Then he said “I don’t even know the name of the person who knocked me over.”

I sighed and bowed and said “I apologies. My name is silent blade. My real name is Annie.”

He nodded and said “My name is Kishan and this is Jacob. Now who is it you are running from?”

“I think that would be me.” I turned around and whipped out my daggers as the man who I was running from came into view. His men had crossbows in their hands all pointed at me.
