Today wasn't so bad.

Thursday, 14th October ( Army Day)

3am (Giyuu's Pov)

I'm jogging to the army camp since a car wouldn't prepare me for the army jog.. I'll jog for 5 hours non-stop to prepare me for the army, I need to get there before anyone else, I gotta get the best bed. While I was jogging, I felt the presence of someone behind me, I just jogged faster and the figure tried catching up to me. 'This dude's fast..' I thought. I got a water bottle out of my bag and drank it while running. I decided to leave some water for the dude behind me, and I threw the bottle towards him. He caught it and immediately drank all of it. "Thank you!" the figure shouted. I immediately knew who it was. "Tanjiro?! Why the fuck are you here?" I questioned while running. "Well, I wanted to protect Ka- err, everyone I know so I decided to join the army!" He answered. Ugh.. This dude it too goddamn wholesome, there's no way he can pass the army entrance exam. "Tanjiro, you better catch up to me if you wanna pass the entrance exam." I said. He suddenly caught up to me, then immediately slowed down. I kept my pace, ignoring him. "W-Wait, Tomioka.." He puffed. I slowed my pace to give him a chance. I saw a convenience store and I decided to boost Tanjiro's morale by saying: "Yo, Tanjiro, if you catch up to me by the time I reach that convenience store, I'll allow you to take a break and I'll buy you some ramen." I said. Tanjiro suddenly appeared next to me "Oh well.. Tomioka looks like I caught up!" He said. It worked. We arrived at the convenience store and he immediately laid on the floor. I bought some ramen and bottles tea for both of us and we ate. We resumed our jog and we arrived at the camp at 8am.

8am

I went to the best bed immediately and thought for a moment. I then decided to give Tanjiro the bed. "Hey, Tanjiro, this is the best quality bed we have here, come and get it" I said. He agreed and layed down on the bed. We have bunk beds so I layed on the bed above Tanjiro's. Slowly, some people I recognized came in, mainly Rengoku, Obanai, Tengen, Muichiro, Gyomei and Shinazugawa. "Hey guys" I said while playing my phone. "Yo" was all they said, well, besides Gyomei, he said: "Why Hello there Tomioka" Blah blah blahIi don't really care. "Hey Tanjiro" Muichiro said. "Oh hey Muichiro, didn't expect to see you here, is this where you go when you're absent?" He asked. "Yeah, what're you doing here anyways" He responded. "Well I wanted to protect everyone so yeah." He said. Muichiro nodded before going on a bunk bed and staring into the ceiling, or actually.. the ends of space.. Honestly when he spaces out I wonder what he think about, probably something super intellectual like: 'Why do we exist' or 'are we a simulation'. The others talked and we waited for the Army informant. 

8:30am (Tanjiro's Pov)

"ATTENTIIIIIOOOONNNNN" someone said as they walked towards the front. Everyone stood up and saluted the figure, what's going on? "Oi, Tanjiro, come stand next to me and salute" Tomioka said. I did as he demanded and I waited. Who was this dude? "So, I'm your Army Informant, well most of you already know me, but there's a new comer" He explained. "Red-head, come to the front". Me? Why me? Well better get going. I went up to the front. "Welcome to the Army! Well, actually not yet, since you need to pass the entrance exam." He said. Okay? What do I say? "Well meet you're colleagues: Lower Army Class Muichiro, Medium Army Class Tengen, High Army Class Rengoku, Army Leader Obanai, Lower Lieutenant Sanemi, Medium Lieutenant Giyuu and High Lieutenant Gyomei!" He said. They all look so strong, except for Muichiro but besides that. "So, what class am I?" I asked. He laughed. "If you pass the entrance exam then you'll be a Lower Trainee!" He said. I sighed. "Alright, so when's this exam?" I asked. "NOW!!!" He shouted, hurting my ears. "Wait, no-" I was cut off, and I was thrown to a obstacle field. Ugh, is this how the army trains? Well, let's see the coarse.. Uhh.. Yeah I'm definitely failing.. 

The obstacle coarse had fucking spikes?! What the fuck, are they trying to kill me? And there were goddamn barbed wires?! What the fuck?! I have to fucking jump over lava too? I swear their fucking trying to kill me. "Tanjiro, my boy, you can do it! If Muichiro can do it you can do it!" High Class Army Rengoku said. "What? What happened?" Muichiro asked (This is literally me when someone asks me something while I'm eating). Goddamnit. Well I gotta do it. Before I jumped the Instructor announced something: "Oh by the way, you gotta do it 10 times". I almost died when he said that. "F-" "Oh and No swearing in the Camp" the announcer said. I swear to god. I started the cou- "Oh and you gotta finish it in under 5 minutes" the announcer said. I looked at him. "F-" "NO SWEARING" He said. I had no choice but to start the coarse. Alright.. Speedrun, I'm always speedrunning my work so I should be able to do this. I started running. I had to do this 10 times in under 5 minutes, It's impossible I swear. I kept running and on the 9th lap, I tripped onto the lava."FU-" I shouted. Wait.. I'm still alive.. How? "So.. uhh.. Attempt 1 was a fail.. Uhh.. restart!" The announcer said. "Wait what?" I asked. "Well, you see. when you're suppose to die in training camp, We just teleport you here, you know.. but it only works in training camp" He said. "I- W- Wha?" I was so goddamn confused. Well I guess I gotta restart.. This went on for the entire day, everyone watching me fail, except for Muichiro, he was staring into the ends of space thinking stuff so mysterious that it keeps us up all night, hes probably thinking like: 'How can computers compute but the word compute can't computer' or 'how come we say Tic Toc but not Toc Tic' or something like that. Actually.. why do we say Tic Toc and not Toc Tic? Ugh Muichiro pulled me into his battlefield. Well.. I guess I gotta do this. I continued doing the coarse and I kept failing. It was already nighttime and I'm still doing this. I then got a message.. it was from.. Kanao.. "Please, Tanjiro! Help! Someone's in our house! Bring everyone!!" The message said. My eyes widened.
