A week later, after challenging physical therapy sessions and painful hours of trying to walk again, you finally could function right and walk normally. Mildred was there every single step of the way, by your side to help you.

One day as you were laying down, talking to Mildred, she smiled and leaned over you. You lifted your head and pressed your lips against hers. She practically devoured your face as she passionately kissed you. You both moaned and she ran her fingers through your hair until a sudden knock on the door startled you both. You cleared your throat as Mildred stepped back.

"Come in." You said loudly.

Huck pokes his head in and gives you a quick nervous smile.

"Sorry uhm Mildred. May I speak with you?"

"Yes. Of course." Mildred replied. She shot you a glance before leaving the room to join Huck in the hallway.

"What is it?" Mildred asked.

"Bucket fixed the damn tub and y/n is scheduled for an appointment tomorrow at 8:30. They've deemed her suitable for the therapy again, now that she's recovered enough."

"Then we deal with this tonight. Get y/n. You know what to do from there." Huck nods as they walk opposite ways. Huck goes back to your door and walks in the room.

"Huck? What is it?" You asked, seeing the nervous expression painted on his face.

"Y/n, we have to go, come on." He said pulling the covers off you, ready to help you get up. You quickly pulled them back over you, scared and Huck backs up, throwing his hands up.

"Excuse me, what do you think you're doing?!" You yell.

"Y/n, I'm sorry but we really need to get going. Mildred is taking you out of here. You, Mrs Blix and Mrs Cartwright."

His words hit you like a ton of bricks. You were finally getting out of here. Huck helped you up and he told you to stay where you were. He walked ahead down the hallway to make sure no one was coming. He motioned his hand for you to follow him. You scurried down the hallway and he rushed you out into the parking lot. It was pouring rain and you threw your hands out, looking up, feeling the water on your skin. Huck pulled your arm and you two ran to the side of the hospital, near the bushes that surrounded the facility.

Your chest started to hurt. Bad. You dropped to your knees at the stabbing pain and gripped onto the grass beneath you. Huck turned around and ran to you. "M-my chest." You huffed out, clutching your injury.

"It's okay y/n, it's okay." Huck scooped your fragile body in his arms and ran with you to the side of the hospital. There was a car parked with its lights off. The front door opens and Mildred comes running out, wearing a large trench coat over her nurses uniform.

"Is she alright?!" She shrilled running towards you. You see Lily running towards you as well with a concerned look plastered on her face.

"It's her injury. She hasn't been this active for a long time. I shouldn't have had her run so fast. I'm sorry." Huck panted, still holding you in his arms. Your heart was racing, causing increasing pain in your chest.

"I- I'm okay." You tried to lift yourself up but the stabbing pain coursed through your chest, making you scream. Mildred quickly placed a hand over your mouth, trying to muffle the cry.

"Put her in the back." Mildred ordered. Lily opened the door and Huck laid you down in the back seat. Lily quickly got in next to you and you see Ingrid sitting in the passenger seat, looking back at you. Your head was resting on Lily's lap as the pain got worse. Mildred swings open the drivers door and gets in the car.
