Julie's POV
I walk into my house and my dad is talking Alex in the kitchen. I'm still getting use to them being able to be seen.
"Hey Jules." My dad says. "Hey do you know we're the other boys are, I wanted to get to know them more."
"No actually I don't." I say. "They were at the beach, they aren't back?"
"No." Alex says.
"Oh, well I'm sure they'll be back soon." I say.
"So how long are the guys staying?" My dad asks.
I look at Alex and he looks at me. I sigh, I have to tell him the truth.
"This is gonna sound crazy...." I begin. "But forever? Dad they're ghosts. they were were here since I started playing again, it's because of them I was able to play again. They died in 1995 and they came back as ghosts. People could see them when we played together, a d now everyone can see them. I know it sounds crazy, so I might well show you. Alex poof out."
Alex poofs away and poofs back in seconds later. "Ta-da." He chuckles nervously.
"Ghosts?" My dad asks, completely shocked, staring at Alex in disbelief.
"Yep." Alex says.
"Did someone say ghosts!" Carlos says running into the kitchen. His jaw drops when he sees Alex. "I can see the ghost band." He says.
"You knew!?" Me and my dad say at the same time.
"Yeah .... Reggie thought it would be a good idea to prove ghosts are real." Alex says.
"So...the lamp? The blinds? The blanket?" Carlos asks. "That was him?"
"Yep." Alex says.
"Well he's awesome!" Carlos says.
"So wait....you're a ghost!?" My dad asks Alex. He nods.
"I know it sounds crazy, but it's true." I say.
"No...no I believe you...it's just...wow."
"Anyways....so can they continue to stay in the studio?"
"Yeah....yeah of course. We can even make a guest bedroom in the house work. Whatever is more comfortable."
"Thanks Dad." I smile. "I'm gonna go over to Flynn's house, see you for dinner."
Alex's POV
Julie was at Flynn's, and Luke and Reggie still haven't gotten back from the beach yet. I began to worry. What if Caleb found them?
I pace back and forth in the studio, waiting anxiously for them to poof back, but nothing. Just then, Bobby walks into the studio.
"Ugh, wait are you doing here?" I sigh.
"Geeze I thought you'd want to see me considering I know where Luke and Reggie are." He says.
"Where!?" I ask. "Wait...did-did you hurt them?"
"He didn't." Caleb says poofing into the studio suddenly.
I immediately stumble back. How'd he know...I looked over and Bobby was standing next to him. We're they.... working together!?
"But I might have." Caleb smirks. Before I can have a reaction, I am poofed to a black room that reminds me all too much of the black room we were in before we died.
Reggie was standing there bouncing a small ball on the ground and catching it.
"Reggie, you're alright!" I say thankfully.
He jumps a little, startled by my sudden appearance.
"Wait, Caleb got you too?!" He says.
I nod. "Where's Luke?"
Reggie shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know, when we were at the beach Caleb just showed up and poofed me here. I don't know what he did to Luke." He says. "You don't think he...that he killed him, do you?"
"I'm sure he's fine." I lie. I honestly have no idea if Luke is alright, I sure hope he is.
Reggie nods. "So what now?"
Julie's POV
Flynn and I were sitting in her room laughing and having fun like we always do, but I couldn't get my mind off of Carrie. I was still a little sad she didn't show up to watch practice. I really wanted to tell her about the guys being ghosts. I want to let her back in, I want to be friends again.
"Hey, is something the matter?" Flynn asks sensing my unhappiness as always. I can always count on her to read my mind and know exactly what I'm feeling.
"I'm just kinda bummed Carrie didn't come to watch the band practice." I say. "I wanted to let her in about the guys."
"You wanted to tell Carrie about your ghost band. Out of all people?" Flynn asks. "She may have apologized, but she's still the same shallow brat she always was."
"Hey, she use to be our friend!" I defend.
"Keyword use to be." Flynn says. "She's not anymore, and now that she's not I can clearly see who she was all along. She's always been jealous of you Jules."
"Okay, but she's changing. She apologized."
"Yeah ... because she was proved wrong." Flynn says. "Why is it that after you play the Orpheum she's all of the sudden sorry?"
"Look, I believe she's actually trying to change." I say. "She hasn't been mean to us at all."
"You seriously believe her nice girl act?" Flynn scoffs. "Jules, your famous now, of course she wants to be your friend again. Think about it for just a second. I know you want her back, but she's just a petty self-conceited, spoiled brat."
"You know what..." I say getting frustrated with what Flynn was saying. "I have to be home for dinner."
"It's 1 pm." Flynn says.
"Alright fine...I just want to leave." I say, grabbing my bag. "I won't sit here and listen to you trash talk Carrie when you know very well what's she's been through. I'm not saying that excuses her actions, but at least she's trying to right them now."
I storm out of her room and out the front door. Me and Flynn never fought, yet we just did. I hope this wasn't the end of Double Trouble, because I still love Flynn and don't want our friendship to end.
