1995-Alex's POV
"Gosh you're so stupid, why are we even friends!" I shout. I don't know why I'm so angry all of the sudden. I've been friends with Reggie since kindergarten, so why do I all of the sudden hate him.
"Whatever Alex." Reggie says. "I just thought that it would be fun to get you out of the house for a bit, and I heard that a really good band was playing the Orpheum. I got us tickets because I thought it would be fun!"
"But I hate crowds!" I shout.
"I was just trying to do something right for once!"
"Why would we even want to see Luke and Bobby perform anyways! They're jerks!"
"No, Bobby's a jerk. Luke is his friend who wants to be nice but is stuck with an ass hole friend!"
"That's not even the point." I say. "The point is you got us tickets to a concert knowing how much I hate crowds! Do you even care!"
"Of course I care Alex, you're my only friend!" Reggie says.
"Yeah well whose fault is that?" I say.
"What's that supposed to me?" Reggie asks.
"What I mean is no one wants to be your friend because you're so annoying!" I shout. No wait I don't want to say that. Tears form in Reggie's eyes after I said those words.
"Well I guess if I'm so annoying I'll just get out of our life then." He says.
"Wait Reggie, I'm sorry I didn't mean it!" I say. "Where are you even gonna go?" Reggie has been staying with me because his dad was abusing him. I sure hope he isn't thinking about going back to his house.
"Where do you think?" He asks, pushing past me and disappearing in the crowd. Of people on the street.
I was about to go and follow him when I hear my dad's voice.
"Alex, what are you doing here?" He asks.
"Nothing I uh-"
"Come on, I'll take you home."
Third person
Alex goes home with his dad and Reggie goes back to his house. Luke goes to get a streetdog by himself before the show. Just like in the original time line, they all die. Luke dies from the streetdog, Reggie dies because his father beat him to death, and Alex committed suicide when he found out about Reggie. Again....they all died. But this time, they didn't die together.
