Chapter 19

Hi sorry it's been awhile since I updated this book. I really really don't want to discontinue it so I'm gonna try and finish it some I'm so sorry if updates are slow and or slowly getting worse, I honestly don't quit know what I'm doing with it anymore I'm sorry. Anyways I hope you enjoy.

Reggie's POV

I was at the beach taking a break from the club, getting some fresh air. It was super peaceful here, which is why I love the beach. It's always a good place to think. But this time was like no other because no matter how hard I tried I could only think about that ghost we met earlier, Luke.

I think I have a crush. I mean, he's really cute. I never even had a crush on a guy before but I've never even felt this way about a girl before. It's not a crush like I normally would get. There's no butterflies, I'm not nervous around him, I just feel so deeply connected to him. Like I've known him my whole life.

"Hey." Says a voice poofing next to me. It was Samantha.

"Hi." I say.

"Whatca doing?" She asks.

"Thinking." I say.

"Okay, well Mr. Covington wants to see you Alex and Luke practice." She said. "So we should head back to the club."

"Okay." I say. We poof to our studio within the club and Luke and Alex are already there. Luke smiles at me and my heart flutters. He has a perfect smile. I smile back at him and we just stand there staring at each other.

"Alright well are we gonna practice or what?" Alex says.

"Oh um, actually Mr. Covington wanted to see us practice together." Luke says.

Just then, Mr. Covington poofs in. "Hello boys." He says. "I hope you don't mind, I'm just gonna watch you guys practice to be sure you're a good fit."

"No not at all." I say. "So....what song should we play?" I ask going over to my bass to plug it in to the amp.

"Well I suggest we just do a cover of one we all know." Alex says.

"We could play Now or Never." I say. I look over to Luke. "It was on your demo...I um, me and Alex know it if you want to play it."

"Awe you know my song." Luke says with a teasing grin. I feel my face get warm as and I look down at my shoes.

"Yeah I mean...it's not like I'm a fan or anything I just have good taste in music." I say.

"Alright well if we're gonna play it let's play it." Alex says.

"Oh yeah." I say.

We play the song and it's like we've been playing together for years. Everything just came so natural. We finished and me and Luke took a bow. Alex stayed seated.

"That was pretty great boys." Mr. Covington says.

"Yeah, you three have a lot of chemistry." Samantha says. "Are you sure you guys haven't played together before?"

"Nope." Luke says. "This is the first time. By the way you two were great. You played the song better than Bobby."

"Yeah well Bobby's a jerk." I say setting my bass down on the stand and flipping my hair away from my face.

"Why were you ever friends with him?" Alex asks. "I mean if you're nothing like him."

"I wasn't really friends with him. I just...I couldn't- you know what it's none of your business." Luke says. "I can admit Bobby was an a** and I was friends with him but I don't need to explain myself to someone I just met." He says and angrily poofs away.

"Why'd you have to ask that Alex?" I say. "It's none of our business, and besides he's nothing like Bobby."

"How do you know?!" Alex says. "We just meet him, and if he was really different from Bobby he wouldn't stand by and let him bully every kid in the school."

"We don't know what life was like for him." I say. "I mean, you have to understand that. Everyone judged you when you first moved here because you were new."

"That's completely different. I'm judging Luke based off actual actions." Alex says. "Why are you defending him?"

"Because like it or not the three of us are a band now." I say. "Which means we're a family. We have to have each other's back."

"No, you two are a band. I quit." Alex says and he too angrily poofs out.

I turn to Samantha and Caleb who had just witnessed everything, how embarrassing. "He'll come around." I say. "He's not really gonna quit. I'll go talk to him."

"I think he needs space for a bit Reg." Samantha says. "Come on, let's go to the beach."

"O-okay." I say and the. Me and her poof to the beach.

Caleb's POV

Well this isn't good. We need Alex to be in the band. Him fighting with Luke and Reggie is perfect though, just not at the risk of the band.

Alex is not the only one I'm worried about though. Luke and Reggie are clearly falling in love all over again and if they remember even something the slightest bit from the original time line they could remember everything. Luckily my daughter Samantha could help distract Reggie from Luke, and my son William can help with Alex.

Everything will work out fine. It has too.

Hi, once again I'm so sorry it's been forever since I've updated. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you have an amazing day, and even though the show got canceled I will be making more books. I will probably make my own season 2 but I'm gonna wait until I finish a few other books I'm working on.
