Chapter 28 - So this is it?

I went back to the hotel straight after the show.

"I still can't believe you came... I mean despite everything we've been through in the past few months you came on my birthday-"

"On stage!" He chuckled elbowing me in the side, a wide smile spreaded across my cheeks. He was so warm and happy, Like he actually wanted to be there with me. Even though the time we had now was probably limited to like five minutes before his manager came and got him.

But that's ok... I'll treasure that.

"So how long.. are you gonna be here for? before you have to... you know go home?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly. I mean we finally have nothing stopping us from being together. But in all honesty, I haven't really planned it going this far.

So I'm stumped.

Jonghyun scoffs and sends a look my way. I dropped my head onto his shoulder, feeling his head lie on top of mine.

"I don't know... A few more days? I'm really fully booked apart from now.." He sighed.

"Oh right.."

I looked down at our swinging feet. We had sat ourselves at a bench in a public play area where we hoped to have even a little bit of peace. Because there's nothing more news worthy than finding two international k-pop stars hiding away in a little play area. If we were found we would be all over the news!

Nick and Jonghyun! Best friends forever suddenly dating?

We would never hear the end of it. The romance that only exists in books!

"So." He claps his hands together, I take my head of his shoulder giving him a weird look "So where do we go from here?"

"Wh-"

"I specifically remember you saying that if I rest up enough to be able to broadcast why so serious, we can finally talk. So here I am. I've been broadcasting why so serious in Japan as well. I'm healthy-" I prodded him on the arm. He stopped talking momentarily to look at me confused.

"Really? You don't look very healthy."

"Shut up I am."

"I don't believe you" I say leaning in closer narrowing my eyes teasing him senseless. Rolling his eyes he shoves my arm with half a smirk on his face.

"Stop being mean, behave."

"I am behaving!" I laugh raising my hands in my defence.

He gets up from the bench and stands in front of me. A determined look on his face. I stand up trying to meet his height, He drops his hands onto my arms gathering my full undivided attention.

I can't bear it any more.

"Jonghyun-goon." A voice crosses us. I look to the side to find Jonghyun's manager standing there with a panicked look on his face.
