Chapter 16

"Can Alpha-K come to the stage now?" The stage director shouted. I was sitting along with the rest of alpha-k in the second row of the audience seats near the stage. It was five in the morning and our first concert was today. But later on in the evening. Last night we did rehearsals as well but that was more dance than singing. We went to sleep last night around nine because we had to have loads of rest for today. And now here we are at Tokyo Dome!

Today was both rehearsals for dance and singing. My group was after EXO. It goes; IU, snsd, super junior, TVXQ, Kangta, Shinee, F(x), Exo, ALPHA-K. Then comes all the solos and whatever. My solo also happened to be second to last. I think Krystal and Jessica's performance was last. I can't remember.

My feet were propped up on seat in front of me. Well it was. Jae nudged me in the side telling me to get up. Taking my earphones out of my ears, a couple of stage pd's came and clipped the microphone onto the shirts on the back of our necks.

"Ok kids. You go stand in the platforms under the stage." The stage director called out through his megaphone. I tipped my black federo down and followed Chris to the 'boom' platforms under the stage. We were going to do a stage jump for the first time ever! I was so nervous but excited at the same time! Jae was buzzing behind me being so excited and everything. They had already set up the front stage which was normally where the baseball games were held with all the seats surrounding it. Busy people were going here and there looking for equipment, sorting out the sound system, fixing the lights etc. Its a busy thing.

"Nick, imagine if when we're just about to jump out of one and we acci dentally hit the platform or something." Chris sniggered whilst being handed the microphone to be clipped on his shirt, he was standing on the platform next to mine. I rolled my eyes.

"And accidentally decapitated ourselves." Shin added.

"And then they had to use our dead bodies as props for the next show or something." Nuhyun added too. These guys are totally trying to piss me off. They know I get nervous easily!

"Chris I swear, I will murder you in your sleep if you give me stage fright later." I chuckled pulling my shirt down.

"I'd like to see you try."

"Dude I wouldn't say anything. She got a black belt it origami. And she throws a mean rice ball." Jae teased in a gangster voice down the line causing the guys to snigger.

Boys.

"Ok kids can you hear me?!" The stage director called.

"NE!" The five of us shouted all at once.

"When you're ready do a sign to the pd-noona."

"NE!" We shouted again.

"We'll start off with Jae!"

and it continued like that. Let me tell ya. When they mean that you pop out, you ready do pop out. You literally feel the air being pushed out of your lung! It's probably the coolest thing ever! well I'll tell you what its like.

"Ok guys! don't forget your pose! Nick!" The stage director shouted. I nodded keeping my head down. Oh gosh! what if I get decapitated trying to do this?! I might die! AHHHH-

I didn't even have time to think.

Because I shot out so quickly my breath was taken away. But as soon I shot out my feet were on the floor again.

It took me a while to realise that it was nearly my turn! It's my turn! It's my turn! Open your mouth and sing! Open your mouth!

But I was still in shock.

"Gotta get.. oh my freaking gosh..." I laughed hysterically crouching over on the floor probably ruining the atmosphere. That was so freaking scary! And that was the second time! Within seconds everyone was joining me in laughing. Even the scary stage director. I coughed madly before standing up and continuing the song from my next line. My stomach growled protesting.
