Chapter 17

"Ten minutes to stage alpha-k! are you ready?!" the stage director shouted. I was standing under the stage along with the others who were really quiet for some reason.... earlier they were bouncing up and down with excitement and now it's like the idea of going out there might murder them. Are they seriously that nervous!?

"I think I'm gonna be sick...." Nuhyun gasped covering his mouth with his hand. Jae pulled him back by the scruff of his jacket.

"Nuhyun-ah think about Nick, she has to go out there a second time and perform a really hard song!" Jae scolded.

"But Nick is so confident. She doesn't feel nervous!"

"I'm the opposite." I confessed. "I'm actually a coward."

Our fashion for this performance was really weird. We wore maroon skinny jeans, and black shirts designed and ripped differently. Like mine was ripped down through the stomach and a huge black veil was sewn onto my shoulder. My hair was a faux shaved head and my makeup was natural apart from the smoky eye. I looked like a guy alright but a very pretty one.

"Nick how are you not nervous!?" Shin asked me. He looked really pale!

"I'm not particularly bothered anymore, I kinda have to perform twice anyway." I shrugged fixing the microphone against my lips. A makeup artist was applying some last minute changes to my makeup.

"I wish I was that confident."

Oh trust me. I'm not confident.

The booming sound of Red tears started signalling it was almost time for our much anticipated stage jump. We whispered good luck to Jae who was first.

One by One I watched the members jump on stage as soon as it was their line.. then it came to my turn and I hot out.

"Your love is like poison.... whooaaaa yea-a-ah." I sang joining the formation. It was only the intro and already it was fast and loud! We danced automatically. Every beat we knew off by heart. We didn't make any mistakes and we worked to the best we could for our first concert performance. When the song finished we all remembered how we were supposed to introduce ourselves to the audience.

"Whoooooo!" I cheered shaking my head madly walking back to the centre of the stage. The audience was amazing! they couldn't stop cheering! Now I know why the guys love doing concerts!

"Lets do it..... alpha-k! A.L.P.H.A.K! ALPHA-K FIGHTING!" We introduced, the audience screamed louder if that was possible.

"Are you having a good time!?" Jae shouted.

"NE!!!" They answered at the top of their lungs.

"I really can't hear them." Shin teased fixing his shirt. I watched Nuhyun-umma fix the wire at the back of Shin's neck.

"I think it means they're not enjoying themselves." Chris smirked. A few cameras went off in the audience. I waved to the audience, setting off another... I dunno... fifty?

"I said....... ARE YOU ENJOYING YOIRSELVES!?" Jae shouted.

"NEEEE!"

"WHOOOO!" I chuckled. "You idiot. It was a totally different question to what you first asked."

"It's the same thing."

"No it's not. You said are you having a good time?-"

"Hey nick." Jae interrupted.

"What?"

"Want an Oreo?" He held up the chocolate biscuit and I nodded excitedly. He threw it and I caught it in my mouth smirking.
