i always wanna die sometimes [jaewoo]

they all arrived at jungwoo's apartment, jaehyun placed aera's stuff in the guest room since it was spacious enough for the two of them to occupy for the rest of the stay. after arranging all of aera's stuff he let her little sister take a rest first since he knows how exhausting the ride was from the hospital. jungwoo on the other hand lend jaehyun some nice clothes he can wear for the rest of his stay. 

"here! wear this, i also have other shirts there in my drawer if you need anything don't hesitate to call or even text me"  

jungwoo handed jaehyun a bunch of clothes he can wear, it also kind of looks like they're all brand new. 

"are these all brand new?!"

"yeah, they're all a bunch of clothes my mom brought me before but i don't wear them too often so i just keep them inside my closet, i wouldn't wanna throw it out to waste" 

"you must be really rich"

"nah! i'm just an average, i just learned how to use my money in a good way"

"i salute you, i wish my father was like that too"

"you know jae, i do believe that your father can change, if there is still time because i always believe that people change and there's always hope"

"for him?! no. there's no hope anymore after all of what he had done to me and our family, in the future if he asked for forgiveness i don't think i'll be able to forgive him" 

jungwoo can really feel jaehyun's rage towards his own father and of course he cannot blame him for what he had done. all jaehyun did was sigh and walk out of the room leaving jungwoo to trail behind him. he placed the clothes in the guest's room hoping he wouldn't wake up his little sister. but unfortunately, aera was awakened by the creaking noise coming from the door that jaehyun was carefully opening. 

"did i wake you up?!, sorry aera-ah!"

"no hyung, it's okay! besides, i can't sleep also"

"oh you can't sleep?! do you want me to stay beside you so that you can sleep well, just like what i always do to you when you have a hard time sleeping?!"

"sure hyung! i love that" 

jaehyun laid beside aera at the other side of the bed, he was facing aera and she then cling onto her big brother, she hugged her while jaehyun caressed aera's hair. 

"what's that?! did you get hurt?! you know i don't want my favorite hyung to get hurt"

"ah this?! it's nothing don't worry this was due to the pot that was really hot my wrist touched it so that's why" 

"becareful next time!"

aera saw his big brother's scars from his wrist, the scars due to him slitting his own wrist. aera was too young and naive to know about it and his situation, the little girl then took his brother's wrist and kissed the scars that were visible. jaehyun held his tears, he was moved by the sudden act of his little sister, he knew that it would cost a much greater pain for aera to bear if he would be gone, if him getting hurt was too much for aera how much more if his favorite hyung would be gone... forever. aera is now laying on top of jaehyun's arms,  before he would always sing a song to aera so that it can help her sleep, mostly a lullaby. jaehyun began singing aera a lullaby, his voice is so calm and sweet really perfect for lullabies. the former didn't notice that aera was already sound asleep in his arms before he tucked her in he placed a kiss on her forehead. 

jungwoo was just outside the room, eavesdropping and you can see on his face how worried he was not only for jaehyun but also for aera since she was just a little girl. jungwoo wiped a tear that left his eyes. 

"just a little more, jungwoo you can do this!"

he said to himself.
