A/N: (You'll get the picture if you read the oneshot) I'm sooooo sorry for not posting in forever! I really got caught up in school and reading and kinda got writers block. But I'm back and I'll try to get a chapter up a week. Again sorry!!

Anyways, here it is.

Thomas's POV:

Halloween.

In my opinion, the best time of year. The jack-o-lanterns, the candy corn, the costumes, the colors. It was all beautiful in a scary, yet warm way. Walking around as random characters or even weird objects like a roll of toilet paper, was fun. Sometimes, even relaxing. A chance to catch a break. Unstress.

My recommendation if you're stressed because of a big test: Go trick-or-treating.

Or eat a bucket of candy.

They're basically the same thing.

"Thomas! Hurry up! All the big Hershey Bars will be gone if you don't get down here fast!"

I quickly grabbed a pair of sunglasses from my desk.

"Coming, Chuck!" I hollered, then rushed out of my room.

I almost fell down the stairs five times because of my sheet, but eventually made it to flat ground before faceplanting onto the tile.

Maybe the ghost costume wasn't the smartest idea. But it was the simplest. (And all I had, but that wasn't the point)

My little brother stood, arms crossed, pumpkin bucket in hand, ready to conquer the world in his Jedi costume.

"You're late," he announced, then slightly frowned. "Can you see in that costume?"

I considered that.

"Kinda."

"Okay then," Chuck muttered. "That's good enough."

With that, he grabbed my arm and started to pull me to the door. That kid had a strong grip.

I just had time to yell, "We'll be back by nine, Mom!" before disappearing outside.

Orange lights brightened the streets, glow-in-the-dark buckets illuminating a dim light here and there. Kids wandered around in different disguises, some laughing and chasing one another, some shoving their faces with candy, which I was excited to do. The smell of chocolate and pumpkin wafted up my nose so suddenly I almost fell to the ground, cold air nipping at my exposed skin.

A perfect Halloween night.

"You ready?" Chuck asked.

I gave him an eager glance.

"Candy!"

He burst out laughing as I ran forward, headed to the closest house my eyes landed on.

"Slow down, Chuck! You're gonna get sick if you eat all your candy."

The night had quieted down, only a few younger kids and family's walking around the neighborhood, and it had progressively gotten colder, which wasn't very fortunate, considering my thin sheet was basically my coat. Chuck and I had hit almost all of the houses on the street, and trust me when I say we got a lot of candy. Chuck had almost choked down all of his candy, though. Me on the other hand...
