Ryujin was hanging out with her bestfriend Yeji. Ryujin and Yeji have been friends since they were two years old, and they were inseparable. They are now in highschool and are still as close.
They were playing just dance, and Ryujin had beat Yeji breaking their tie.
"Ha! I beat you 4 to 5!" She laughed doing a little dance.
"Yeah yeah that won't happen again." She said smiling while putting the controller down on the TV stand.
"Hashtag Shin Ryujin best dancer." She poked Yeji in the cheek.
Yeji rolled her eyes playfully.
"Do you wanna watch a movie?"
"Yea su-" Ryujin was cut off by her phone ringing. She pulled her phone out of her back pocket to see the caller ID labeled mommy.
"Hold on let me take this it's my mom." She walked off into the dining room and answered the call.
"Hey mommy."
"Shin Ryujin why aren't you home yet!"
"Um...." Ryujin removed the phone from her ear to check what time it was.
'11:30...wait it's 11:30 shit!'
"I'm sorry momI lost track of time, I'll be on my way right now."
"Ok I will see you when you get home."
"Ok bye I love you." She said quickly hanging up the phone and sighed.
She walked back into the living room to see Yeji on the couch with some pop corn.
"Sorry Yej but I'm out pass curfew so I need to get home."
Yeji pouted but nodded her head. She stood up from the couch and lead Ryujin to the front door opening it.
"Give me a hug before you leave." She said almost laughing.
Ryujin wrapped her arms around Yeji and squeezed her.
"Ow! I said give me a hug not squeeze me to death you brute." She playfully said and Ryujin laughed.
"Bye Yeji." She waved walking out the door.
"Bye babe." She said closing the door.
Ryujin set off on the walk to her house. Luckily Yeji's house is only about a block away from her house. She pulled some headphones out of the pocket of her jacket. She plugged the headphones into her phone, and let the music play.
After a while of walking she came across a intersection and pressed the cross walk button. The crosswalk light blinked to green, and she began to cross the road. Before she could step off the side walk someone tapped her on the shoulder. She turnt her head so see who it was and pulled one of the ear phones out of her ear. It was a girl with dark red hair, and a cute face. Her lips had a frown placed upon them, and it was such a cute sight, it made Ryujin coo.
"I'm sorry to bother you but I recently moved here and I don't know my way yet so I'm really lost." She frowned.
"Oh no it's ok." She laughed.
"do you happen to know were you need to go?"
"Um...Wannabe street?" She looked at her with the eyes of a lost puppy. Ryujin thought this girl was to cute.
"Ah. We seem to be going the same way." She tapped her chin.
"You can follow me I'll lead the way." She smiled.
"Ok thank you!" She said feeling a weight being lifted off her chest.
They both silently stood there waiting for the cross walk light to blink green again. Ryujin turnt her head to look at the girl standing next to her. She bit her lip.
'Wow she is really pretty'
The girl looked up over to Ryujin, and they made eye contact.
Ryujin was the first to break eye contact when the cross light blinked green again.
She quickly walked across the cross walk and the girl followed after her. They awkwardly walked next to each other. That was until Ryujin decided to speak.
"You said you moved here recently?" She questioned kicking a rock to the side.
"Y-yea me and my family moved here yesterday." She said looking down.
"Ah. Do guys have family here or...?"
"We actually use to visit here often...but now we live here because we moved here for my dad's job...we move a lot so I don't think we will be here long." Her voice trailed off.
Ryujin frowned.
"That's a shame i was hoping to get to know a cutie like you."
The girl blush. They stopped at the top of the hill to their street.
"The grey house right there is were I live." She pointed. The girl look down the hill to look at the house Ryujin was pointing at. When she spotted the house she made a O shape with her mouth.
"No way! I live in the cream-ish house across from yours!"
"That mean's if you need help finding your way around I'm right next door." She said before walking down the hill and the girl followed her.
They reached the bottom of the hill and Ryujin walked the girl to her door. The girl turned to Ryujin and smiled.
"Thank you for helping me."
"Anytime." She grinned and turned to walk to her house which was only about 5 feet away.
"Wait!" The girl said grabbing Ryujins hand.
Ryujins heart beat began to speed up. The girls hand was small and warm. It fit perfectly with her's.
"Yea?" She turned to face the girl.
"About earlier...when you said you wanted to get to know me." She said hushed.
"My name's Chearyong...Lee Chearyong."
