Chearyeong sat in the car with Felix seated next to her.

"As you guys know we are here for a reason right."

They both nodded their heads.

"Good. Were going to have a meeting with the Choi's about their latest scouting's, so be on your best behavior, understood?"

"Understood." They both said.

School had ended, and Ryujin was walking home with Karina. It's not like she wanted to but she had no choice.

"So I see you found yourself a pawn?" Karina questioned.

"She's not a pawn. She's an average human."

Karina scoffed.

"An average human who happens to be one of the lee's."

Ryujin mimicked Karina and rolled her eyes.

"Honestly I don't understand why you don't just suck her dry."

Ryujin didn't respond and continued to look ahead as she walked.

They reached her house and Ryujin pulled out her key, to unlock the door. When she unlocked it, she pushed the door open.

When they entered Her moms were sitting on the couch, having a conversation. When they looked up to see the girl standing next to Ryujin their faces dropped.

Ryujin sighed and took a seat on the opposing couch, Karina doing the same.

"I'll let Karina do the talking."

Karina cleared her throat and sat up straight.

"As you both can see I am back. I talked a bit with Ryujin about her not holding her end of the deal to keep me and the council away."

Seulgi cleared her throat.

"I understand, but from what I know Ryujin has kept her end of the deal." She said, giving a fierce look.

"Oh really now?" She said cocking a brow.

"You know the family that just moved in across the street."

They both nodded.

"Those are the very people Ryujin was told to keep away."

Irene gasped.

"Oh mom don't be so over dramatic."

"Over dramatic? Your mom is not being over dramatic. Do you know how serious his is? The lee's have been trying to wipe our kind out for centuries! We're lucky they haven't discovered our true weakness yet." Seulgi said, raising her voice.

Ryujin slouched in her seat.

"Ryujin you know we are the only pure bloods left, and you know your supposed to be apart of the council, yet your here living a normal life as you wished. The only thing that was asked of you as the next in line to be head of the council was to keep the lee's away."

Ryujin sighed, rubbing her forehead.

"And look what you do. You befriend one of them!?"

Irene tried to calm Seulgi down.

"What exactly are you here for?" Irene questioned.

"To inform you that we want Ryujin to get rid of the lee's." Karina said.

"And if she doesn't?" Seulgi questioned.

"Then we do it for her and she has to join the council."

"What!? That's unfair! I don't want to be some vampire lord!"

"Then get rid of the lee's! And you know what I mean."

"Why do you even want to get rid of them so much!?"

"Because they are the biggest threat to our kind right now!? I'm sure you are aware of how we have to hide our true identities everyday just to appear as normal. This land used to be for vampires to roam free, and ever since the lee's set foot on this land, our recruits have disappeared!"

Ryujin understood it entirely, but did she want to kill Chaeryeong? Hell no. She would avoid it as much as she could.

"So...Do you comply?"

"Do I really have a choice?"

"No." She said standing up.

"Then fine...but one question."

Karina slouched a bit, not wanting to take questions and just leave.

"Do I uh...Do I have to kill Chaeryeong?"

"It's all or nothing shin."

Ryujin sighed for the millionth time.

"Anyways I'm off to Ningning!"

She walked to the front door and then turned to face the Shin's.

"You know we are vampires. Walking is lame." She said.

She snapped her fingers and disappeared in a cloud of dust.

As if in cue Yuna came down the stairs and walked into the living room, rubbing her eyes.

"Did I miss something?" She yawned.
