Chloe

i wake up and all i see is the ceiling.
i don't feel any pain, which i am surprised about.
i look at my wrists and each incision i had made before was stitched up.
i let my arms fall to the hospital bed.
i take out the little nose piece in my head and stand up.
i see josh sitting in the chair and i run to hug him.
he's just staring at where i was just laying.
i look at him.
"josh."
he didn't stop staring.
"josh!"
its like he didn't even hear me.
he finally shifted his head towards me.
"you're so stupid." i laugh.
he walks right by me to the doctor behind me.
"When do you think she'll wake up?"
"Actually, Mr. Hyland, since she overdosed on those pills, she's in a coma."
"what?"
"the nurse never told you?"
josh shakes his head.
I'm in a coma?
i look back to where i was just laying before.
i still lay there unconscious.
