"So get this," Sam starts as he looks at the news files on his computer. Dean looks over at him, waiting for him to continue. "Six people have been found dead in Savannah, Georgia in the past two weeks."
"Yeah, so, people die all the time." Dean says popping a chip into his mouth.
"Well it says here they were gruesomely kill, they were torn up, but only on the inside." Sam explains.
"So are we dealing with one of those djinns that turn the insides to jelly?" Dean had become intrigued.
"No, their organs weren't liquified. They were torn to pieces. This is definitely our kind of thing." Sam looks at Dean.
"Alright, what are you waiting for? Let's hit the road." Dean swings his feet from the table and stands. Sam smiles broadly and jumps up. He's like a puppy sometimes.
"I'm just gonna let Cas kn-"
"Hello Dean," Cas says before Dean can finish his sentence.
"Hey-a Cas, I was just gonna tell you me n Sammy are going on a hunt." Dean explains.
"Oh!" Cas' eyes light up. "May I join you?"
"Seriously? You wanna come?"
"I was completely serious when I said I wanted to become a hunter, Dean." Cas retorts.
"Okay what ever," Dean shrugs. "We're gonna get our crap then we're leaving so be ready." Dean stalks out of the room.
Thirty minutes later and all three of them are in the impala and on the road. Cas is sitting in the backseat with a frumpy look.
"You guys get comfortable! We have a long drive ahead of us!" Dean exclaims. He turns on his music and lets it blare. Sam groans but has a smile on his face.
"Dean is it necessary to have the music so loud?" Cas shouts to be heard over the music.
"It's always necessary!" Dean shouts in return.
Cas tilts his head at Dean.
It doesn't take long before Sam is asleep. Dean drums his fingers on the steering wheel as he drives.
It takes nearly 20 hours for them to get to Georgia. Dean pulls up to a cheap motel.
"Sammy!" He shakes Sam. "Come on we're here." Sam starts awake and takes a second to survey his surroundings.
"I need sleep come on," Dean pops out of the car an goes to their room.
He immediately drops onto the nearest bed.
"Gimme four hours at least the well go out and ask the locals." Dean mumbles when Sam walks in. Cas follows after Sam.
"So Sam, what do you think we are hunting?" Cas asks him softly so he doesn't wake Dean. Sam sits at the table.
"I don't know, it could be a ghost or a demon. I guess we'll find out later." Sam opens his computer and clicks to the case.
"What do you know so far?" Cas sits across from him.
"The first victim was a woman named Victoria Wright. After her the last five victims have alternated from men to women. The latest victim was Thomas Tyler." Sam clicks a few keys. "The only thing all of the victims have in common is that they go to the same college."
"Hmm it's a bit complex, but I'm sure we'll figure it out." Cas says encouragingly.
"You have a lot of confidence," Sam chuckles.
"Why shouldn't I, you two can do anything if you put your mind to it,"
"Thanks Cas," Sam smiles softly.
