"So why your place?" Sam asks as he settles on the couch. He just finished dropping his and Dean's things in the guest room. Conveniently it has two beds. Cas sits next to him.
"I protected my house against a lot of monsters. I have salt glued down in every doorway and window. And I have weapons every where along with a whole weapon room." She has a proud look. "And I have a well in the back yard and its been blessed, so it's all holy water. Oh and all my utensils are pure silver."
"You sure do think ahead." Sam nods approvingly.
"I do my best." She sips a soda she got from the fridge. "If you need food, I have plenty in the kitchen, along with beer, soda, and milk." She curls up in her favorite armchair.
There's a loud knock at the door. She lets out a sigh and gets up and stomps to the front door. She keeps her hand on the gun in the waistband of her jeans.
"Oh Dean hey!" She smiles and lets him into the house. He walks in without a word to her. He smells like booze and he stumbles slightly. Chasity notices the mean look Dean gives her.
"Sam, show Dean your room." She says softly, her feelings a bit hurt.
Sam leads a stumbling Dean to the back of the house.
"I thought he liked me," she crosses her arms. "Did I do something wrong?" She asks Cas.
"I don't know, he seemed to be upset with me as well." Cas squints his eyes. Chasity finds herself staring at him and she mentally shake herself.
"It's late, I should be getting to bed." Chasity moves toward her room. "Good night Cas," she waves and leaves him alone.
After shutting her door she crawls into bed. The whispers from earlier swirl around her head. The voice of her best friend. Her thoughts begin to crowd onto her and she can't take it anymore.
She gets up and opens her door. Cas stands there sheepishly.
"You seemed at unease and I was wondering if you were okay." He looks down at his feet. Who knew an angel could get so nervous.
"I'm better now," Chasity sighs. "Come to bed with me." She pulls at his tie.
"I don't sleep, I'm an angel." Cas tilts his head.
"I'm aware, I just need comfort, please." Chasity pokes out her bottom lip.
"It would be my pleasure." Cas follows her into her room. The door closes shut behind them.
Chasity climbs into bed yet again. Cas kicks off his shoes and lets his jacket fall to the floor and he settles next to her. When she turns the lamp next to her be off they are plunged in darkness.
"Cas?"
"Yes Chasity?"
"Can you put your arms around me?" Chasity asks. Cas presses his body against hers and wraps his arms around her. As she falls asleep, Cas hears a sigh of relief.
