Cathy pov

I don't think the students in Gryffindor Tower slept that night.

McGee came back at dawn, to tell them that he gotten away.

Again.

I left the common room to get some sleep since I was up all night and had to teach classes tonight.

The security around the castle was tighter and everyone was paranoid.

Sir Codagen had been fired, thank merlin, and the Fat Lady was back.

Even though she was still extremely nervous, she had agreed to return on one condition that she was given extra protection.

Which resulted in a bunch of security trolls patrolling her

Since violet and I knew about the secret passages, we put motion detecting charms alerting us if someone were to use them.

We also put one at the entrance of the room of requirements.

The last time we put the detecting charms we made a mistake, but we learned from it.

We added an identifying charm, to know who it was that tripped it.

Since the break in Neville was in total disgrace.

Minnie was so furious with him she had banned him from all future Hogsmeade visits, given him a detention, and forbidden anyone to give him the password into the tower.

Poor Nev was forced to wait outside the common room every night for somebody to let him in.

I had argued with her that I could work something out, so that he always had access to the password.

Then she said he would lose it.

So I said I'd make it a bracelet or necklace or something like that.

She then pointed out the houses would have access to the password.

I countered that by telling her I would make it so only he could see it.

After a tiring argument she finally agreed.

So I made it, which took a while, since finding spells and putting it together and testing took forever.

But in the meantime Violet and I put motion detecting charms specified to Nev and Nev alone in front of the Lion's common room so someone could let him.

But two days after father broke in Nev got a howler from his grandma.

The owl landed in front of him, along with Hedwig in front of Harry, the hall went silent, Nev grabbed the envelope sprinting out of the hall.

The Howler went off in the entrance hall.

Neville's grandmother's voice, magically magnified to a hundred times its usual volume, shrieking about how he had brought shame on the whole family.

I looked back at Harry, he was reading the letter he got.

The next day I got a letter of my own.

The letter dropped in front of me, making me look down, it was from the Malfoys.

I opened it reading the letter.

I hope teaching is going alright, violet said that the students seem to be enjoying your lessons. Was it you that put up all the pranks for Lucius? Because he has been very angry about them. He had to go to a meeting with pink hair.
