3de pov

As she walked up the stairs, wand at the ready, she began to hear vioces.

"Sirius wait," said Lupin sternly.

"I did my waiting!"  shouted Sirius.

She stood by the door but of site.

"Twelve years of it!" He continued shouting.

She rolled her eyes.

"In Azkaban!" He finished.

"A tad bit dramatic don't you think," she said entering the room smirking.

All of their heads snapped to her.

"It's in his blood cub," Remus said snapping out of it first.

She looked at him he had his wand lowered.

He looked at Sirius, "Very well kill him," He said as if he was continueing a previous conversation.

"Wait what?" She asked shocked at what she just heard.

He glanced at her again.

"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!" Hermione screamed, interupting what he was about to say.

We turned to look at her.

She was pointing at dad, wild-eyed, "You -- you --"

"Hermione --" dad tried.

"You and him!"

'Are married?'

"Hermione, calm down --" he tried again.

"I didn't tell anyone!" Hermione shrieked, "I've been covering up for you," she glanced at Cathy.

Both of you, that meant, my eyes widenend.

"Hermione, listen to me, please," Lupin shouted, "I can explain --"

"I trusted you," she shouted at dad, her voice wavering, "and all the time you've been his friend!"

"You're wrong," said Lupin.

"I haven't been Sirius's friend, but I am now -- Let me explain-"

"NO!" Hermione screamed then spoke to Harry, "Harry, don't trust him, he's been helping Black get into the castle, he wants you dead too -- he's a werewolf!"

There was a ringing silence, Cathy's grip on her wand tightend.

Everyone's eyes were now on dad, except me and father who were on Hermione and scabbers respectively.

"Not at all up to your usual standard, Hermione," he said.

"Only one out of three, I'm afraid. I have not been helping Sirius get into the castle and I certainly don't want Harry dead" he paused.

An odd shiver passed over his face.

"But I won't deny that I am a werewolf," he said not mentioning Cathy.

Ron made a valiant effort to get up again but fell back with a whimper of pain.

Dad made toward him, looking concerned, but Ron gasped, "Get away from me, werewolf!"

Dad stopped dead.

Then, with an obvious effort, he turned to Hermione and said, "How long have you known?"

"Ages," Hermione whispered, glancing at me again.

"Since I did Professor Snape's essay..."

"He'll be delighted," Cathy said coolly.
