Cathy's pov

It's super early and I'm walking to the Quidditch pitch in my pajamas, which was just a shirt and some sweats with a sweater thrown over because of the cold.

I'm also wearing boots because I don't want to freeze my feet off.

Why am I here this early, people might ask me.

Because Minnie had told me about the Firebolt that Harry had gotten for Christmas.

She said it had arrived with no note and suspected it came from father.

She had already checked it for spells and all that, but wanted me to double check it anyway.

So that is way I'm walking to the Quidditch pitch.

I'm in my pajamas because it's super early and I couldn't be bothered to change.

Nobody would see me anyway.

Once I arrived I saw her there wearing her robes and everything, but her hair wasn't in a bun.

The first few days of teaching I had to get use to her hair not being in a bun, I still hadn't gotten used to it yet.

"Morning," she said.

"Morning," I said not quite awake yet.

"Ready?" she said pulling out her wand.
For fucks sake, not that you dirty mf, think strai- normally.

"Yep," I said stretching of my sleep.
I don't know how else to describe it, ifykyk.

I got ready and pushed of the ground.

Minnie had her wand ready, in case it was cursed and I fell.

'Wow,' I thought as I made a number of sharp turns.

Left.

Right.

Left.

Right.

Stopping when I got a bit dizzy.

I rode from one side of the field to the other and circled around the goal post.

Pulling the broom I went up.

Then I stopped and looked at the sun rise.

It was beautiful.

Minnie had left earlier so I could enjoy it a bit, but I'd hardly noticed it until I rode close to the ground and were she should be standing.

I started zig-zagging and ridding through the hoops, doing all kinds of tricks, on the broom and with it.

I had shouted from pure joy, knowing that no one would hear me.

I kept flying for some time, but after a while I decided to go back.

But instead of going to my room I went towards the great hall, since I had noticed I was already quiet hungry.

I shrunk the broom wandlessly, since I didn't have my wand, but left my pajamas.

I didn't dare transfigure them since I hadn't mastered it yet, and didn't want to walk around naked.

I entered the great hall and sat down at my place.

There weren't a lot of people there since it was still pretty early and most of them were 6th and 7th years anyways.

And they were used to seeing me like this, I was quiet lazy when I went to school.

The teachers didn't comment either, they just ate.

Remus wasn't here yet.

Neither were Violet or Minnie.

I guess she went back to her room or something.

I started talking with Dumbledore about types of phoenixes.

Which was a very long and entertaining conversation.

Once I was done eating we had somehow ended up talking about socks.

Of all things.

Minnie, Violet and some other students had now arrived in the great hall.

Violet started putting in her recommendations about socks as I got up.

"Were are you going?" asked Violet stopping mid-sentence.

"Change," I said pointing at my outfit, "and shower," I added.

She nodded and went back to their conversation.

I left the great hall and walked to my room.

I showered and then brushed my teeth.

Putting on a sweater and some pants, with my favorite boots.

Leaving my hair down I left my room, walking to the great hall.

On my way there I decided to make a detour and went to put Harry's broom back in his dorm.

No one was in the commonroom except a few 5th years, who waved at me.

I entered his room, spotting his bed and walked towards it.

Once I had put it on his bed, with a note, I turned to walk away.

But I stopped and looked out the window at the forbidden forest.

I saw the same dog which I saw all those nights ago.

I waved at them and they ran in a circle twice.

I laughed quietly to myself, before leaving the room

The day went by fast.

With me getting pranked at dinner by Violet.

Resulting in blue hair and an, 'I told you so,' from Remus.

Snape also look mildly amused at my predicament. (Did anyone else read predicament as 'perdicament', because I did and didn't know you wrote it like that.)

Which I did not enjoy because of the Quidditch match later today.
