Chapter 25

"Please dad. It's a chance to make more friends!" I said, asking dad to join Adams team.

"Alright. I'll contact the coach later on."

"Yes!" I said.

"Beck, I'm going to get the kids. Wanna come?" Mom asked.

"Oh alright." I said.

20 days until Christmas. 15 till we go home to Idaho.

The drive to the kids school was bearable. Its farther than my school. It was their first day too.

"BECKETT!" Brock screamed and ran to me.

"Hey Brocko!" I said.

We heard all about their first day on the way home.

Mom made tacos and fresh salsa for dinner.

Dad called the coach after dinner.

"Beckett, he said there was an opening. He's going to meet you tomorrow after school and see what position you play." He said.

Yes. Now I can play with Adam on his team.

I think Adam and I are going to be good friends. Kyle seems nice, so do the other guys.

I ran to my room, and texted Adam.

DUDE! I got a spot! I have a try out tomororow!

Of course, Adam didn't reply right away, so I went down to see Gavin.

"GAV MY PAL" I laughed, throwing my arm around him.

"What do you want?" Gavin said, paying more attention to the video game then me.

"Dude, why you gotta be so cold!" I laughed.

"Because we aren't friends" He said

"Okay? Chill man!" I sorta laughed. He never usually acts like this. weird.

I guess I'll chill with Avia!

" Hey Avia! What's up sucka?" I laughed

" RUN!" She screamed to Emmi and they bolted.

I ran after them, but they were gone. I could hear giggles through the wall.

"WE ARE IN THE WALL" Brock screamed.

They found a secret pass!
