Chapter 4- Neibourhood Kids

When all the kids got home, we played with the kids who live in our neighbourhood Every Friday, all the kids in our neighbourhood go out and play a game. Last week we played tag. In the whole neighbourhood. Gavin, Avia, Emmi and I all went out. Brock isn't old enough.

It's super fun. This week, we were playing manhunt. It's hide n go seek tag but in partners. Isaiah lives a few houses down so he was there with his sister, Amanda. She is Avia's friend.

We split into pairs. I was with Isaiah, Gavin was with his best bud Dawson, Avia was with Amanda and Emmi was with Daily, her friend who lives a few streets over. There is like, 50 or 55 kids that come and play. Half of them go to my school. The other half go to Gavin and Avia and Emmis school.

We started and picked Gavin and Dawson to be it. Isaiah and I ran for our lives. Gavin can run fast.

Isaiah and I ran to the park. We hid in the tree house. We were there for a good 30 minutes until Gavin yelled. We jumped out and ran to Isaiah's house. We got beside his house.

Avery and Jaden found us and tagged us.

"ALL THE ITS TO THE PARK!" I heard Gavin yell.

Isaiah and I ran behind Avery and Jaden to the park. I saw Avia and Amanda and Emmi and Daily we not there yet.

"I think we should all split up and go in singles." I suggested. "Then we'll have a better chance of finding them."

"Ok!" Gavin said and we all ran to find them.

I ran all the way to our house. Avia and Amanda were hiding behind the van. I tagged Amanda, but not Avia. I ran and ran after her.

I finally caught her.

"I know where Emmi is! Near the park, behind the community building!" Avia said.

"Is it just her and Daily?" I said.

"Ya! And it's near the edge." Avia said.

The edge of our neighbourhood is kinda sketchy. Some guy was trying to give some kid drugs a few years ago apparently.

I ran for my life. I hope she's ok!

I got to the community building. I saw her. "EMMI!". I yelled and ran up to her.

We found everyone like 10 minutes later. We met where we started.

"I think we should go in groups of 4, just so the little kids don't get lost!" Isaiah said.

"Isaiah and I take Emmi and Daily!" I said pulling my little sister towards me.

"We get Johnny and Joey!" Dawson said. Everyone got two younger partners.

Avery, Jaden, Haden and David were it.

I picked up Emmi and ran with her. Isaiah did the same with Daily because she is acually his cousin.

We hid in the bushes behind Isaiah's house. We were the last to be found. It was getting dark so we said bye and went home for dinner.

Logan and I watched Catching Fire.

I can't wait to see Lilly tomorrow!
