Chapter 6- Robbie Sullivan

----Monday----

On the ride to school, I started to get nervous about this new Robbie kid.

"Beckett, you look nervous bud, what's wrong?" Dad asked.

"Nothin. Hey! It's September 1st today!" I changed the subject.

"Yup! Training starts tonight!" Dad smiled.

I got out and went straight to my locker.

"Hey Beckett!" Lilly said as she walked up to me with Jessa and Callie.

"Hey ladies! What's happening?" I laughed.

"But hey, Lilly, can I talk to you, um in private?" I said.

"Sure!" Lilly said. We walked over to a corner.

"So, we have been hanging out a lot lately and I-" I started to say but Isaiah ran up and interrupted me.

"BECKETT! HES HERE! C'MON!" He said yanking my arm.

"Sorry Lilly!" I said as I ran with Isaiah.

I wasn't scared. What could this kid have done to be so bad.

Then I saw him. He was a giant!

"Outta my way losers!" He pushed past Isaiah and I.

"Wow Isaiah, you were right!" I whispered.

Great. He's in my homeroom. He took my seat in period 1, told Isaiah to get lost in period 2. And it just got worse from there.

At lunch, I sat down with Isaiah. The Robbie came over and literally pushed Isaiah out of his seat. I'm done with this kid. Isaiah was on the ground, with tears in his eyes. I have never seen him like this.

"Listen here, Robbie." I said, getting in his face. "You haven't even been here a full day and I'm already tired of your crap. Leave me and my friends alone." I said. Robbie narrowed his eyes.

"If I were you I would back down, Butler!" he said. Then, a miracle happened. I though the was going to slug me, but, he didnt.

"I'm the only one who calls Butler, Butler!" Connor said, punching him straight in the face. He fell down.

"I would back down, Sullivan!" I laughed. So did Connor.

"I-I'll get you Beckett, and you too Connor!" Robbie said, running out of the cafeteria.

"Ha Ha!" I said, hi-fiving Connor.

Isaiah came up to me.

"I've never seen you get so, so mad!" Isaiah said.

"Butlers stand up for friends. We do what's right!" I said.

"Same with Monterys." Isaiah laughed. Then the principal came on the PA.

"Beckett Butler and Connor Jennings to Mr. Macs office. Beckett Butler and Connor Jennings to the office." Mr. Mac said.

I walked down to the office with Connor. We sat down in the chairs.

"Beckett, come in please." Mr Mac said, opening his door.

I went in and sat down. I saw Robbie.

"Mr. Butler, what happened just now in the cafeteria?" Mr Mac asked.

"Well, Robbie shoved my best friend off his chair, he has been tormenting us all morning. So I told him to back off. Then Connor punched him." I said.

"Robbie, is this what happened?" Mr Mac asked.

"Yes." Robbie said.

"Mr. Butler, you are free to go. You didn't do anything wrong." Mr Mac said.

I walked back to the caf.

We went outside and Lilly came over to me.

"Beckett, you were super brave for standing up to Robbie for Isaiah!" She smiled.

"Hey, it's what Butlers do." I said. "But about earlier." I continued.

We walked away for the big group.

"Lilly, we have been hanging out a lot lately and um, I was wondering," I started to say.

"Go on!" Lilly said.

"Do, do you want to be my uh, girlfriend?" I asked. Lilly automatically smiled.

"Uh, YES! Oh my goodness Beckett. I thought you would never ask!" she squealed.

"Whew! I thought you would say no!" I sighed.

"Why would I say no? You are like the cutest kid in school!" She said.

"Really?" I said.

"Ya, every girl has a crush on you. including me! And after this weekend, I knew you liked me!" She said. I smiled.

"Let's go tell everyone!" I smiled, and put my arm around her.
