**Greyson's POV.**
"Why?" was the first word coming from Jess' mouth when I woke her up the next morning, referring to the fact I had woken her up too early for her liking.
"Photo shoot. And I couldn't have gotten up without waking you anyways," I point out, gesturing to her head, still using me as a pillow. Rolling her eyes and blushing slightly, she sits up straight and stretches her arms out, effectively cracking her muscles. I wince. I hate that noise...
"Why do I have to go anyways. Alli doesn't," she says grumpily. I raise an eyebrow, gesturing for her to explain. "I told Alli about it yesterday. And she was specifically asked not to go,"
A smile forms on my face, remembering the first tour Cody and I shared. Alli had felt the need to interrogate the lighting crew about their jobs, ate half the snacks from the food table (ending up in her vomiting on the floor) and she tried to get in all the photographs until she was physically restrained, much to my amusement and Cody's pleasure.
"Wouldn't surprise me," I shrug, sitting up and quickly standing up on the ground, getting a dizzy sensation from performing the act to fast.
"You okay?" she asks in a concerned tone, sensing my problem ( and idiocy since this happens literally every single morning)
"Fine," I brush her off simply.
But know I can say, I'm not.
We arrive at a white painted building soon enough, munching on hash browns and sipping apple juice boxes from McDonalds for breakfast. Cody arrives just seconds after we do, in a black van identical to ours. He didn't carpool because he can't stand McDonalds breakfast menu, and there wasn't enough time to stop at a store and buy him his own food if we went together.
He smiles sleepily at us both, nodding his head casually in recognition. We walk in together. Well, Cody and I walk in side by side with Jess about 15 feet ahead, skipping and waving to the receptionist as she goes, only holding when she's stopped by a security guard, who must've been giving her an attitude by the way she's reacting.
Hand on her jutted out hip.
Head tilted up to meet his gaze.
Serious face expression masking her once lively and joyful smile.
Dead eyes, filled with coldness so dark even making the 6 foot something guard dressed only in black squirm a bit before regaining him professional act.
