TODAY was supposed to be my day off, and my plan was to curl up in bed and watch movies all day to just relax as days off were rare when it came down to being a secret agent. But, it was simply ruined after I got a call from Malory, ordering me to come in to cover things.

I didn't know what it was, but I guess it wasn't that important as she called an hour after work was supposed to start so I was already labeled as late. Regardless, I put aside my frustration of having to go into the office on my, supposedly, day off, and got ready to head out.

I braided my hair off to the side, and got dressed in a simple white shirt tucked into a pair of white leggings with my black combat boots. Afterwards, I left my house, got into my car and headed towards ISIS.

When I walked out of the elevator, I noticed Malory walking down the hallway alongside an African man, about 6'3, bald head and wearing a black turtleneck with a grey jacket over it. I furrowed my eyebrows deeply as I didn't know who this man was, but I guess I was about to be introduced to him anyways as they began to approach me.

"You're late." Malory spoke, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Today is my day off." I reminded her as I looked from her to the stranger, whom looked at me with a smirk.

"Well, not anymore." Malory retorted as I met her gaze. "Lila, I want you to meet our newest agent, Conway Stern." I looked at the man revealed to be Conway as he extended out his hand to me.

"A new agent?" I questioned as I slowly took his hand into mine.

"Indeed." The man spoke as he lifted up my hand to kiss the top of it. From the corner of my eye, I could see Malory getting annoyed about this gesture, which made me think she was already feeling this new addition. "Lila, uh?"

"Callahan." I breathed out as I took my hand back. "But, I don't understand." I said as I looked between them. "Why do we need another agent?" Malory scoffed.

"Well, if you were here earlier, you would've known!" She exclaimed softly, causing me to sigh. "Come on, Conway, let me show you around." I watched as Malory began to walk before looking over at Conway as he gave me a wink before following after her.

"Oh, great." I grumbled. "Another flirtatious man in the bunch."

"More like a snack." I glanced over and saw Cheryl and Pam standing behind me, Pam making the comment. "You gonna hit that?" I sighed as I adjusted the bookbag strap on my shoulder.

"Not my type." Cheryl scoffed.

"Racist." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"How?" I questioned.

"Because he's black?" Pam questioned.

"No, because I don't fuck everyone that I meet."

"Ugh, no fun!" Cheryl groaned, causing me to roll my eyes. "Besides, Conway is.." She trailed off as she let out a soft moan, causing me to cringe. "all mine." She breathed out.

"Well, you can have him, Cari."

"It's Cris-tal." Cheryl corrected.

"God, you changed it again?"

"Yeah." Cheryl breathed out. "You know, like the champagne?" I quirked up an eyebrow. "It's what hot black guys drink." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever." I breathed out as I made my way to my desk, dropping my bookbag in my seat before I headed to go use the bathroom. I was trying my best to hurry to get here that I didn't get a chance to relieve myself before I did.
