AFTER that chaotic mess back on the blimp, I found myself taking yet another vacation. This time, I decided to travel down to Orlando to visit my grandparents, Betty and Nigel. I hadn't seen them in person for nearly a year due to work so I was planning on surprising them.
It felt relieving to finally get the chance to see the only family I had left. I needed some sort of stress reliever after having to deal with so much shit at work. With Archer's constant idiocy down to Lana's and Cyril's tangled relationship, I needed a much bigger and well deserved break.
So, I put everything work related in the back of my mind, and just focused on myself and this trip, wanting to cherish the time I was gonna spend with my grandparents as I knew it was rare. But, they knew what I did, and how difficult my job can get, so they understood completely.
I just arrived in Orlando a few minutes ago, and since it was late, almost midnight, I decided to get a hotel room, and head to their house in the morning as I didn't want to disturb them as I knew at this given hour they were most likely sleeping. Plus, I wanted to have some decent sleep myself, and a shower, before I went over there to see them.
As I crawled into bed, after putting on my one set red mixed with black flannel pajamas, my phone began to go off. I reached over to the side table where I placed it, and looked to noticed that Archer was trying to video call me. I sighed, not wanting to answer but, knowing him, he was gonna constantly keep trying to get a hold of me so I just caved in.
"Hey, good looking." I sighed as I answered the call, seeing Archer on the other end, shirtless and, weirdly, wearing some sort of reading glasses.
"Why are you wearing those?" I asked.
"What?" He questioned. "Oh, these?" I watched as he took them off, and observed them lightly before shrugging. "I was just reading." I scoffed.
"Since when do you read?" I questioned.
"I read all the time, okay?" I scoffed as he looked at me.
"Says the guy that never reads his briefings." I pointed out, causing him to roll his eyes as he placed his glasses down beside him.
"Whatever."
"So, tell me again why you video called me?"
"Isn't it obvious?" I quirked up an eyebrow as he lowered down his phone, angling it so I would be able to see more of his bare chest, even catching a glimpse of his black boxer briefs. Immediately knowing what he was trying to gain out of this, I groaned in disgust.
"I am not having phone sex with you, Archer."
"Correction." He said, adjusting the camera back on his face. "It's video call sex." I huffed heavily with rolled eyes.
"I don't care what it's called, it isn't happening." I retorted.
"Why not?" He whined out, causing me to roll my eyes. "You should be wanting to make it up to me, considering you almost killed me back on that blimp!" I scoffed heavily as I looked at him like he was crazy.
"I almost killed YOU!?" I exclaimed softly. "You cut the wrong wire!"
"It's not my fault you didn't know what I said!"
"No one's name is Mancy, Archer!" I exclaimed softly.
"How would you know?!" He argued back, causing me to sigh heavily as I closed my eyes, and leaned my head back. I haven't been away from New York for one full day yet, and I already was getting stressed out again, and of course, it's Archer's fault, as per usual.
