I wake up with a gasp, coming out of my normal terrible dreams. My mouth is dry and my head hurts but my men are tucked in next to me despite me having some how sprawled out.
I'm on my back and Kirishima is laying on one of my arms and one of my legs is slung over his, the other is tucked under Bakugo. My only free limb is my arm that is resting on my stomach, Bakugo's hand is laced through the fingers so it's really not free. Kirishima is on his side facing me, hair a mess and snoring softly. Bakugo is also on his side facing me. His undercut makes it hard to have bedhead, but his mouth is hanging open and drool has puddled on the pillow.
I wiggle enough to get out from between them without waking them up. It's still dark outside as I crawl from between them two toward the bottom of the bed and sit for a moment, letting my head catch up to my movements.
A few minutes later, as the boys softly snore behind me, I stand and immediately collapse from the pain in my leg, I bite the back of my wrist so I don't scream. Today is not a day to do any sort of walking. I army crawl to the bathroom and manage to get myself sitting on the toilet.
Upon further inspection, my clothes are an over sized Dynamight shirt and a pair of plain black boxers. One of them put the cat bandaids on me. I take care of my needs and manage to wash my hands while standing on my not messed up leg. On my stomach and crawling back to bed is when I make eye contact with Kirishima who has rolled to his other side to watch me leave the bathroom.
"Leg?" He asks in a hushed tone.
"Yeah." I crawl closer to him and he grips the back of my shirt, hauling me up and over him, back to my spot between the two of them.
He holds out a couple aspirin and a glass of water to me. I thankfully take them and swallow the pills, draining the glass of water like I was a kid that just came off the playground on a hot day. I hand the empty glass back to him and lay back down, checking on Bakugo who is now also awake and eying me.
"How pissed are we at me?" I ask, looking up at the ceiling.
"Very." Bakugo answers for the both of them. Kirishima nods.
"For reasons other than me going off alone and getting rip roaring drunk?" I continue.
The two sit up to look at each other over me to have a silent conversation. "Nope" they say in unison.
"Alright. Get to yelling, but please keep in mind that my head hurts." I try to soften the blows before they come.
"I just don't understand what you were thinking." Bakugo shakes his head and tucks some hair behind my ear. There's a gruff undertone to his words, but he's trying to keep calm.
"I was sad." I shrug
"Don't blow this off, y/n" Kirishima props himself up on one arm so he can look at me and still relax "you've gone there before on anniversaries, but you've never been this self destructive."
"I got drunk in a cemetery, I didn't do drugs on top of a sky scraper" I sigh.
"You got drunk alone in a poorly lit area after you wrote a damning article all but accusing a high profile politician of murder." Kirishima shoots back.
"I see your point." I close my eyes "I'm sorry. I didn't trust the police officer to get me home."
"We picked him because we knew he's a good guy. Did you not trust us?" Bakugo asks accusingly.
"I think I only trust you two, Kirk and Marcus right now. That trust doesn't extend to those you trust." I answer honestly. "Just because they would help you, doesn't mean they wouldn't turn me in."
