"Monu!!!", Sanju screamed her lungs out.
"The hell, Sanju!! Why are you screaming so much??", Monu retorted completely pissed off.
"Gosh Monu, you have been sitting on the bed and starting at the curtain for the past 45 minutes straight! What did you find so interesting in those curtains?", Sanju exclaimed.
"Uhm, I was just thinking about something else", Monami replied.
"About something or someone?", Sanju asked suspiciously.
"About SOMETHING", Monu replied fidgeting.
"Why are you fidgeting then? And why are you talking so nervously? You're lying right?", Sanju asked.
"Well, FINE. I was thinking about Karan.", Monami replied honestly.
"Ahan! So there is something between you and Karan, huh! Not bad Monu, I like him, perfect for being Koel and my jiju!", Sanju teased.
"Gossshhhhh!! Hold your horses Sanju! I was thinking about his *rude* behavior.", Monami gritted her teeth.
"What? Rude??", Sanjana asked surprised.
"Yes! He is the same person who banged his car into my scooter the other day. And now he again spoke rudely to me in the kitchen. It's like there is a switch I need to keep in my hands to talk to him.", Monami elaborated.
"A switch? Are you nuts?", Sanju asked amused.
"No I am not. And yes, a switch. You see, he talks all sweet and nice to me in the start but then again starts talking rudely in a few minutes. If I have a switch, I can switch off is *khadoos* mode and talk with him.", Monami explained.
Sanjana burst out laughing. Monami glared at her.
"God Monu!! Okay, I think there is something you trigger in him while talking. Maybe an incident or so on?", Sanju spoke.
"Hmm, maybe. It's his past and a girl. That's what triggers him", Monu replied.
"If you know what triggers his rude behavior then why do you talk about it?", Sanju asked glaring at Monami.
"Sanju! I talked to him like only 2 times. I got to know that today. I won't talk about it from now on.", Monami replied.
"Hmm, okay. If that is the case, what were you thinking then, like for so long!?", Sanjana inquired.
"I was thinking about that girl. Like exactly what would have happened in his past and was that girl a part of it? Why did that girl seem so familiar?", Monami confessed.
"Oooh, so that girl seems familiar to you?", Sanju asked.
"Yep, and what confuses me is that that girl seems quiet young. Like, I think I have seen/met her a few years ago. Maybe that's when she looked like that. By now, she should be looking way more mature and elder. Like in that picture she seemed to be 21 or so. But now she would be 25 or 26. So, why has he stored such an old picture of her, why not a new or a more recent one? Like, that's what I feel.", Monami spoke.
"Maybe you're confusing her with some other girl. Plus, why do you care? It's his life, maybe he likes the old picture more. Don't overthink now. Let it be. Let's go for lunch now!", Saying so Sanju dragged Monami to the dining table.
At the dining table
"My god, so much food? Who is going to eat all this?", Sanju asked with her eyes wide open.
"Umm, we will be eating this.", Sid replied causally.
"This food is enough to feed our whole colony!! How the hell will we eat all this?", Monami asked.
