"The main quarters of the company is like fab!!, the canteen's food was so good! It was almost as if we were not eating from a canteen but from a five start hotel!!",  Koel exclaimed.

"That's great. The food stalls outside our headquarters is ridiculous!! That chai tasted like sweet water!! And if you put a tissue paper on top of the samosa, the whole tissue gets yellow coloured because of the oil! Urgh!", Sanjana complained.

Koel's POV 

Monu and I laughed at poor Sanju's condition.

"It's Delhi! you really can't expect better unless you're very lucky, right?", Monu commented. 

"I agree, the essence of the desi Delhi will never change, even if hundreds of Arvind Kejriwal plan to improve the conditions of Delhi!", Sanjana spoke. Well, she is a little too correct, isn't she?

"Okay talking of which, all that good food, luxurious working place, everything is useless. In fact, from now onwards going to the office would be like going to hell!!", I spoke up. 

"Huh, why? Also, why do you look nervous? Is the new boss not good?" asked Monu.

"WAITTT, Koel, what happened to your hand??" Sanju asked out of the blue.

"Oh-uh well, Listen!" I started off.

*FLASHBACK- in Koel's POV*

"God! I am just on time!!" I huffed standing in front of the new boss's cabin. I just hope the new boss is like our previous one. Our previous boss was wise, gentle and helpful. I wonder what the new boss has in store!

I entered the cabin. Maannnnn!!! the new boss is young! I was expecting an oldie, after all the boss was the owner of the company. I must say he has achieved success in a short span of time!!

"Good Morning sir!" I greeted him.

"Good Morning!" He greeted me back politely. 

I passed a tight lipped smiled and stood at the side with rest of the employees. 

"So as you all see, in total, 30 employees have been selected to work in the main quarters of the company. These 30 employees, which are you all, are one of the best employees. Thereby, we have selected you to directly work under Mr. Faizuddin Siddiqui, the CEO and owner of this company." announce Charul, the PA of our CEO.
My whole world just crashed on me! Please say this is some nightmare, please!!

I almost stumbled back. Everyone was looking at me. I passed a nervous smile and shook my head to indicate that nothing was wrong. Gosh, everything is wrong!! everything!!

"Firstly, good morning everyone! Charul has already introduced me to you all. You can call me Faizi sir. So, the main quarters of the company was in Mumbai but now it has shifted to Delhi. The company has chosen the thirty of you after seeing your progress report and work efficiency. However, I would like to meet each and everyone of you personally, so Charul, please arrange a personal interview with all the thirty employees, it would be a good opportunity to know everyone nicely." Faizi spoke eyeing me the whole time. Nooo, please don't tell me that he recognized my voice! God, please save me! This day couldn't get worse, could it? 

Charul nodded and we all got out of the cabin. 

"The new boss seemed friendly and nice na??" Samiksha, a good friend and co-employee spoke to me. 

"Y-ye-yeah, Uh- I got to go! I'll be back!" I managed to speak and rushed to the washroom. 

"Damnnnnn!!!! NO NO NO NO NO!! I cannot face Faizi!! If he recognized me, I am dead, if he didn't recognize me, He will!! I am pretty sure that he would remember my name! The moment he gets to know my name, I am screwed!" I kept blabbering in front of the mirror in the washroom.
