"Karan?", Adi shook Karan. "Mhphm-", Karan groaned and opened his eyes, blinking them several times to wake himself up. "Three trials.", Adi said. "Kya?", Karan asked confused. "Arey, three trials to open the password for this file", Adi said pointing towards the file 'PALLAKSHI'

"Oh, okay, good job. What's the time?", Karan asked. "It's 5 in the morning.", Adi asked looking fresh as a sunflower. "Oh- you go to sleep then. You have stayed awake almost half the night.", I said while Adi shook his head. "Now I'm awake, and I want to know what shit has happened last night that you suddenly wanted me to check this file's password trials.", Adi demanded in a serious tone. 

Realising that nothing could happen now, I narrated the entire story, from the terrace incident till now. "So much happened, and you didn't bother to tell me?", Adi asked, sounding slightly betrayed, however, soon he covered it up. "You're taking it the wrong way, I just wanted to confirm. That's it. And now that I am sure, that I wasn't hallucinating and all, I have told all of it to you na?", Karan said while Adi nodded his head, reluctantly. 

Karan's POV

"So," I started off. Adi threw a questioning gaze at me. "I mean, what should we do now?", I asked while Adi shrugged, "the situation's just getting complicated. You said that you had something collected from Ramesh and his father's rooms?", he said when it striked to me. I opened up the gallery on my phone and showed them to Adi. 

"See, firstly, the milk was spiked. Sleeping pills. But, there was nothing in my milk glass. No pills, no drugs.", I said showing the reports while Adi looked shocked. "And now that I have seen this, I can totally say, that the girl I saw on the terrace, the girl in my room and the girl who jumped down the railing, her eyes looked anything, but sleepy. Her eyes looked hypnotised and dangerously still. She barely blinked. Once or twice, in a long period of time. Her eyes were void of all positive emotions, just darkness, totally opposite from Monami.", I explained. 

"Monami's eyes are hypnotising, not hypnotised, her eyes have the spark of life in them, not darkness.", I started off only feeling the teasing eyes of Adi on me from the side and that's when I stopped. "Nothing makes sense that Monami and that girl dancing, Pallavi, are the same.", I sighed. "In fact, I even told you to keep an eye of Monami that night, and I saw the girl but Monami was sleeping.", I continued. 

"Anyways, one of my guesses were right, Ramesh and his father are definitely hiding something. See, according to these documents. Ramesh's real father's name is not Brijesh. His name is Prakash.", I said while Adi looked stunned. "Uh- wow.", was all he could say, I assume. "And, Ramesh has done a degree of chemical biology thing. And that degree has been kept safely under the cover of a photoshop image of the same degree but with Monami's name.", I said. 

"Explains how he could give the report of Magnesium Oxide so quickly and accurately.", Adi said. "And what's more is that he has mentioned that Magnesium Oxide is used for relieving heart burns. And, he also mentioned that his father suffers from heart burns, sour stomach and acidity, but, I checked the medical prescriptions of his so called father, Brijesh, and he doesn't take medicines for heart burns, and for acidity he takes 'Eno' which contains Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate and citric acid, not Magnesium Oxide."

"And we found Magnesium Oxide here, in this room, right?", Adi said to which I nodded. "So, this calls for an investigation.", Adi and I smirked waiting for eight a.m. to call up everyone to this room and figure out the missing parts. 

"Agent Shergill, you'll help me achieve what I want," A whisper was heard from outside the room and a smirk adorned the person's face.

According to the strict rules of the mansion, the breakfast was served at 7 30 sharp. Everyone was present on the breakfast table, Adi and Karan were busy thinking about the events. the rest were chatting as usual, but somehow, Sid was looking lost and disturbed.
