"Monu, I mean, was it that your heart starting beating fast. You weren't able to think rationally, you were scared to death seeing him like that.", Sanju asked moving closer towards her. Monami nodded in daze. "Was it that you just wanted to tightly hug him and keep him safely close to you?", Koel asked while smiling mischievously. Monami, who was still in daze nodded sub-consciously. 

"Really Monu?", Koel asked almost laughing out by now. Monami came out of her trance hearing Sanjana and Koel giggle. "Uh-uh no, I mean yes, I mean...", Monami fumbled. "Leave it, you won't be able to do it.", Koel winked. Monami glared at her while Sanju bit her lips trying to control her laugh. 

"Guys! This is cheating!", Monu huffed while blowing her fringes on her forehead. "Aww, you look cute doing that. Do that in front of Karan, he'll go in full 'aww mode'", Sanju spoke while arranged Monu's hair. "Shut up the two of you now!", Monu showed her fake-anger. Koel and Sanju laughed at her helplessness. "I am not talking to you guys now!", Monu got up and left towards her room. Koel and Sanju laughed and went back towards their rooms as well.

At the dinner table-

"Guys!", Sid exclaimed seemingly hesitant. "Yes?", Faizi asked, too looking a little lost. "Uhm- is it just me, or is the vibe and atmosphere of the surrounding becoming too heavy? I really feel uncomfortable right now.", Sid spoke. "You're right, I legit too feel the same. It's so suffocating.", Adi said. "Yes, we can see that, you've opened your shirt's button, so suffocating right?", Sona asked squinting her eyes. "Are you jealous? Or did it effect you?", Adi winked. "Shut up Adrith!", Sona replied rolling her eyes. 

"On a serious note, can we go outside and eat? It's actually very weird.", Sanju spoke while playing with the food on the plate using the spoon. "I don't feel anything different though.", Monami spoke looking unaffected. "Exactly, it's just the same.", Karan spoke. "Oh my god! Days are changing!! Monami and Karan agreed with each other for the second time.", Adi exclaimed dramatically. Everyone glared at him. He just gulped innocently. 

"Okay, let's go outside and eat.", Monami said. Everyone picked up their plates and sat in the garden. "Wait, let's play dumb charades!", Sid spoke up excitedly. "My god Sid bro! Two minutes before you were looking so low and now you're jumping like a kid.", Monami spoke unbelievably. "I told you before bro! It felt weird inside.", Sid spoke. "It's the ghost, it's that night. That night, when the tragedy happened.", Ramesh's father spoke up popping up behind from nowhere. "Aaahhhhh!", everyone flinched because of the sudden and husky voice. 

"Uncle!", Monami whined. "What? I just informed you guys!", Ramesh's father spoke and walked off. "Guys, it's fine, just ignore him.", Monami spoke. "That's what we have been doing since the start.", Karan spoke in an obvious tone. The rest shook their head and gave a 'you-won't-change' face. Karan just shrugged and continued having his dinner. 

"Which night was he talking about anyways?", Faizi asked causally. 'Two lovers, got separated... ', a faint whisper spoke. 

"Who the hell spoke that?", Sid spoke slightly freaked out. Everyone looked here and there, yet, there was no one. "The voice sounded husky, and as if in pain.", Karan spoke. "You know what, I am not hungry any more! Okay bye!", Sid took his plate, gave it to Ramesh and ran into his room. Koel followed the same. The rest had their dinner quickly and left towards their room as well.

'You are actually a little, no, a proper crack!', a manly voice spoke irritated. A cute giggle was heard afterwards.
