After that rainy encounter with Oikawa, I obviously caught a cold. . .

3 days later

I was now walking down the school hallways, students were buzzing all around, heading to their respective classrooms. It's been 3 short days since I've attended class. Luckily, my mom phoned my aunt, which is also my homeroom teacher, that I was sick.

I quickly went inside my classroom, making sure that nobody notices me. Students were still not in their seats, instead, they were loitering around the room chatting with their friends.

"Akemi!!!" a voice exclaimed from behind. . .

I'm caught . . .

"Are you okay now, Akemi?" Hinata looked at me with a worried expression painted on his face. "The teacher told us you were sick and said that you will be gone for a while."

I noticed that Kageyama was behind Hinata, looking at me with anxious eyes. I know it's not the time to be thinking like this, but I think the KageHina ship is slowly starting to sail, I mean- why would Kageyama always follow Hinata?

I felt the familiar hot sensation up inside my nostrils as I thought about making another fanart about one of my favorite ships. Fortunately, I managed to prevent it by thinking about rational thoughts to distract my mind.

"Thank you for worrying about me, Shoyo," I beamed at him. I then looked at Kageyama who was still behind Hinata. "You too, Kageyama."

I heard someone sniff, I looked at Hinata and noticed that small tears were forming at the sides of his eyes, threatening to fall. After gathering his composure, he started saying, "Don't make us worry like that again, okay, Akemi?"

He tried to wipe off his tears with his hands but they wouldn't stop running.

"Stop crying, Hinata Boke! You're just embarrassing yourself in front of Fukuda-san!" Kageyama scolded.

My arms suddenly moved on their own accord, and the second thing I knew, I was hugging Hinata. The height difference was small, though I still had to slouch a bit to hug him. He was short, but I knew that one day, he will be taller than me.

I should enjoy it while it lasts.

"A-Akemi?" I heard Hinata question, confusion laced in his voice at my sudden action. I noticed that his whole body felt a bit warm as I held him.

I pulled out of the hug and smiled cheekily, "I can't promise you that, but I will try my best to not get sick again!"

As I looked at Hinata, he was now red as a potato.

"S-Shoyo? Are you alright?" I shooked him, worried.

"A-ah yes!" he stuttered while trying to keep his balance.

"Also," I glared at Kageyama and saw that he was shocked and confused at the same time, "Stop calling me Fukuda-san, Fukuda-san....you can call me Akemi!"

He nodded.

I grinned and ran towards him to give him a hug. His body stiffened and it felt warmer than Hinata.

"K-Kageyama!" Hinata pointed, "Your nose is bleeding!"

I looked up at him— he was a bit taller than me and saw that both his nostrils were dripping blood. I frantically grabbed a tissue from my backpack, I was always ready for these types of situations because of my stupid nose and its normal occurrences.

"Here," I handed him the napkin.

He grabbed it and stuffed it in his nose, "Arigatou, A-Akemi. . ."
