"Rae, can you help me with this tie? I asked Poki, but she just laughed and left." Sykkuno said, as he invited himself into Rae's room. Rae was in front of the mirror putting on lipstick. His sudden appearance made her jump which caused her to mess up her lipstick.

"Jesus, Sykkuno, can you knock?" Rae scolded him, as she wiped the line of lipstick that went on her cheeks. After that, she turned towards Sykkuno.

Amber meets amber. The both of them were stunned the moment they saw each other. Silence engulfed them, as they were too busy checking each other out to actually say a word.

Sykkuno was wearing a black suit and red tie partnered with black pants and shoes. His hair was much more ruffled than usual. Rae was wearing a short A-line, off shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline, and a little belt of silver for accent. Her hair was on a messy but classy bun.

"You look good, Sykkuno!" Rae was the first one to break the silence, as she approached him.

"Uh-huh... T-Thanks! You... Also look good!" Sykkuno said bashfully.

'Honestly, he could just leave the tie all messy, he looks good either way.' Rae thought, as she tied his tie for him.

"So, what made you give up?" Rae asked, as she perfected his tie on the first try.

"Well, I watched a youtube tutorial, but my hand ended up being stuck." Rae snorted, as she turned around feeling terrible that she had time to laugh at his misfortune. At least now, she finally understood why Poki had to leave. Knowing her roommate and bestie, Poki probably left to laugh, and didn't want to hurt his feelings.

"Do you have any guns, Sykkuno?" Rae asked, as she hid a dagger on her short inside the dress.

"Rae, why do we need to exhaust our resources when we can just steal? A shoot out would most likely happen." Sykkuno and his typical 5 head play. This is what caught people off guard. His planned carelessness and quick-witted brain.

"I agree with that." Toast said, as he wrapped an arm around both of them. "Bring a gun." He quietly whispered to Rae. Rae laughed at his antics.

"Why do we need to bring actual weapons when everything around us is a weapon?" Sykkuno said with a slight smirk plastered on his face. He has a point. By not bringing any weapons they would come off as bystanders.

"I find it scary how your brain works sometimes." Rae said, as shook her head. They were now walking together, preparing to leave their home for an adventure.

"Are you two ready? The limo's here." Toast informed them. Normally, Toast would be with his favorite duo, but today the capos have to infiltrate a headquarters in the far north. As much as he wanted to be there and support the two people he considered his siblings, the cartel had to take advantage of the auction event to gain the upperhand. "I expect you two to return unscathed." He strongly ordered. He received a nod from Rae and Sykkuno. His eyes softened as he hugged the two of them. Toast opened the limo door, watching them get in and leave. Hoping for the best.

The party before the auction was usually the most annoying thing especially for Rae and Sykkuno. Both are shy and quiet around the people they do not know. That's why almost everyone was dumbfounded when Don Scarra specifically asked Sykkuno and Rae to handle this one. Normally, Poki or Celine would handle the parties, that's why everything was so awkward.

Everyone was chatting, whispering, and laughing in their own little world, but most of the attention was actually directed on their table. Typical higher atts party. The wine, champagne, and the fake laugh of people.
