Vivi came inside the room clapping dramatically with a knife in her hand. "You actually did it." Sykkuno continued to surprise her. Everything was going according to his plan. Using her father to attack the Cartel at their most vulnerable moment, everyone leads to defend poor Ludwig who was caught in the crossfire, poisoning Rae like she asked. "You betrayed your family for me." She'd be lying if she said that she wasn't impressed.

"I did it for love." Sykkuno corrected her. Vivi noticed that Sykkuno was still staring at Rae's face. Her smile fell as she attempted to stab her.

"Kill her, now." Vivi commanded him but he still held her wrist. He had caught it since she tried stabbing Rae out of the blue.

Sykkuno smirked. "Why kill her now? Don't you want to savor your victory?" Sykkuno asked as he slowly let go of her hand.

"What are you planning?" Vivi asked as Sykkuno lifted Rae using both of his hands, carrying her in his arms effortlessly.

"I told your Dad to capture everyone first. We have a dungeon underneath the Cartel. The dungeon is equipped with a live tv, and some spikes where we throw the people we torture to meet their death." He had that sadistic smile on his face. This was her first time witnessing him like this. "Let her watch everyone get decapitated by your father before the poison slowly kills her."

"You're..." Vivi was speechless. The Sykkuno that she knew was loving and caring.

"The poison will wake her from pain in 5 minutes. She can choose whether the poison will kill her or she can crawl and fall on the spikes instead." Vivi loved it. She returned her knife back to her dress.

"Then, what are we waiting for?" Vivi left the room, and Sykkuno followed her with a cold smile.

"Corpse, do you trust me on this?" Toast asked as they prepared for war.

"Do I have to?" Corpse asked while Toast laughed. "Seems like I don't have a choice." Corpse looked at Toast with a blank expression for his pointless question.

"God, you're gonna kill me after this." Toast whispered, but Corpse clearly heard him.

"Jeremy, what the f*** did you do?" Corpse asked as calmly as he could. Toast could tell he was dead serious.

"Uh..." Toast paused for a moment thinking of a correct answer. "I'll tell you if you promise not to kill me." Corpse is a man of his words.

"Fine, just tell me already." Everyone watched in awe as Toast pulled Corpse off to the side.

The situation was that the president was being held hostage by Vivi's father and demanded that the Comfy Cartel would surrender otherwise the president will be beheaded.

Rae felt like she was awake, but her vision was still black. She suddenly felt like she was laying on something soft and comfy. Then the series of events suddenly came back to her.

Sykkuno poisoned her or rather she knew there was a poison, but chose to drink it anyways poisoning herself in the process. She could hear Vivi and Sykkuno argue in the background. "If she wakes up, and sees that she was well taken care of then it'll give her hope, don't you agree?" Sykkuno said with a cold smile written on his face.

"Yeah, but what for? Don't tell me you have feelings for her?" Vivi's tone was that of a jealous girlfriend but in reality there is no label.
