Today was the last day of their stay at the hotel. After their deeds until this morning, Sykkuno had explained their situation. Their mission was halted and Toast wants them back at the Cartel.

"Can I borrow your chapstick? I mismatched mine." Rae asked, as Sykkuno approached her. She had finished putting on her foundation and light pink blush.

"Stay there. I'll come." Sykkuno saw that she was about to stand up from her bed and he immediately sat down next to her. He cupped her chin and tilted it upwards so that he could see her lips.

"I'll do it." She mumbled, but he already started putting that chapstick on her. She had no choice but to stare at his determined face that was clearly focusing on her lips. The second he finished, he immediately stole a kiss from her. "I told you I'll do it." Rae shook her head while giggling. Sykkuno averted his gaze as a slight blush appeared on his cheeks.

"C-can you walk?" He didn't even had the courage to face her.

"Still a bit sore but I've been through worse." She replied. She's been shot, sent to a coma, nearly fell to her death, and nearly had her throat sliced in half. A little pain doesn't bother her, but it took her all her strength to stop herself from replying "No, I'm having a hard time feeling my lower body. Who's fault is that exactly?".

"I-I'm sorry..." Rae wanted to laugh at how lost he was. He was genuinely upset at his bois, and if she was too. Aphrodisiac is a drug that stimulates sexual desires, but what concerns her is that there had been reports of people dying to the said drug.

"No you're not." She glared at him. It wasn't his fault. It was partly hers too. If Mickey and Yeager hadn't caught her yelling then the incident would have happened.

"Yeah, you're right." Last night was an accident, but the one this morning was his choice.

"So, what exactly are we now?" She felt awkward asking the same question he asked a couple of years ago when the same thing happened to her.

"I..." This was not the answer that she was anticipating. She felt a pang on her chest after hearing the sadness in his voice. "I can't. Not now." His answer made her feel even more terrible.

"Do and go, huh?" She was meant to tease him, but she was surprised when her voice came out so bitter.

"No, no! It's not like that!" He immediately turned to her. He grabbed her shoulders and from that she could feel him trembling. "Rae, I-" This time she cut him off by pressing a finger on his lips.

"I trust you." She said with a smile. "I trust you, so I am trying my hardest to understand you." Sykkuno felt bad. She understood that as long as he was hiding things from her their relationship would only fall apart. "But, I can only understand you up to a certain degree. So the moment that all of this is over, you owe me a LOT of explanations, braincell." Her statement made him smile. "So what are you up to now?" She asked him, trying to divert the topic.

His face darkened. Something that was a rare sight for her to witness. It was as if a storm was coming. "Let's just say I need to have a STERN talk with my bois." The emphasis made him look sadistic. Rae was already praying for the betterment of the CB femly. "Are you sure you can walk?" His darkened face suddenly returned to his sweet and worrisome expression.

"I'm fine~" She sang to keep him from worrying. He hugged her briefly before he got off her bed to pick up her gun.

"Can I borrow this?" He turned back to her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
