'He's late...' Rae thought to herself as she waited at the among us lobby. She gathered her usual squad. Toast, Corpse, Wendy, Jodi, Tina, Jack, Ash, Brooke, and Leslie. They are currently fixing some technical difficulties before going live. 'Is it because of what happened yesterday?' Her question was soon answered when a pink character joined the lobby.

"I thought Sykkuno was coming?" Jodi asked, confusion was present in her voice while the demand for answers was present in her tone. The remaining Amigops remained quiet at the incident mainly for the reason that most of them do not know why Sykkuno suddenly bailed.

"He went on a vacation with his family. It was their surprise for his birthday. He's currently on his way to the airport as we speak. He asked me to fill in at the last minute. Also he wanted to say sorry even though he was also surprised." Mostly everyone chattered in agreement.

"Yeah, that makes sense! I hope he can enjoy his day!" Tina chatted happily. Most of them were a bit bummed that they haven't wished him a happy birthday yet and most probably because of one other thing.

"So, does that mean that our surprise party is cancelled?" Leslie asked. Rae had already zoned out, feeling infuriated. 'He said 'Oh yeah, w-we're cool!' but his action today felt like he was just running away!' She returned to the conversation she was having with her friends, only to stumble upon an even worse news.

"He said the vacation with his family would probably last a month or two. He already tweeted out that he's going on an indefinite break." Everyone's eyes widened in surprise, even Toast. "Didn't you see his tweet?" They all pulled out Sykkuno's twitter only to be greeted by his message.

"Did he tell you where he was going?" Corpse asked. He was worried, but Toast was even more worried. Toast found that Sykkuno's behaviour was rather odd.

"Anyone got a clue?" Jack asked. People soon piled up in their Discord lobby, bringing the news of Sykkuno's sudden break. They all found it odd and rash. Rae bit her lip and stayed silent, which didn't go unnoticed by Toast.

Rae took a deep breath before replying with a short 'after'. Now, her feelings overwhelmed her. She managed to gather some confidence and started her stream soon after the news about Sykkuno slowly died down. She faced her camera and smiled, hiding the deep insecurity and mixed up emotions she felt.

After 3 hours the stream ended. She was glad that no one from her chat noticed how badly she felt. Shortly after ending her stream, she immediately got a call from Toast.

[Rae.] His voice was calm and collected, but she could still hear how worried he was. Toast was protective of everyone, especially after the whole incident with an ex member in the past. The moment he recognizes that something is wrong he will get to the bottom of it, ensuring that everyone he cares about would always be on the right path. [Do you want to open up?]

"I..." Rae paused for a moment. Remembering the situation that got her here in the first place.

She patiently waited for the movie to reach the climax, while Sykkuno was already asleep next to her. They had gone out after Ryan, Hafu, and Dogdog decided to ditch them after their schedule got mixed out. Sykkuno just got off after a 9 hours stream from GTA. She was full of energy given that she was playing offstream and was more relaxed.

They had chosen a horror movie given that the other choices were an R-18 romantic movie, and a movie that she had already seen for the twenth time. As soon as Rae heard the dramatic sound she quickly turned to Sykkuno and watched him sleep. The scream of the main lead and the audience combined made Sykkuno jump from shock as Rae laughed. Sykkuno looked at her, confused as to where he was. He blinked twice as if he had just realized that he was still at the movies with Rae. This made Rae laugh even louder. Thankfully, the screams around them were enough to mask her, she was laughing all by herself, after all.
