Chapter 3

The wind makes the mask that cover Yuriko's face falls on the ground, but without waste any second Yuriko immediately pull another mask from her kimono and cover her face again before anyone see her face. Just as Soo-Won open his mouth to say something, all of sudden an arrow landed next to Yona from out of nowhere, this giving Hak chance to immediately kick his Hsu Quando up and grab it, then swing it to the soldiers who surround him and Yuriko, he then immediately swoop Yona from the ground and ran.

"What the hell are you doing, Yuriko! Come here!" He shouted while running, she then immediately broke eye contact with Soo-Won and grab her katana and ran after Hak, only after change a glance with Soo-Won.

She mouthing "so you choose this path...", making Soo-Won's eyes widen he tried to grab Yuriko's arm, but she already out of his reach, in the end, he could only grab the air. He then stare at her mask that fallen when she fight with Hak earlier, he pick it up and stare at it with an unreadable expression.

"General! General Hak...! Yuriko-san!" She saw a familiar boy ran to them, it's Min-Soo, the king's servant. "This way." He pointed to a corner. "Was that poorly shot yours, Min-soo?" Hak let Yona down.

"His majesty is..."

"Yes, I heard the conversation from before. Princess... Is his majesty... Truly dead?" Min-Soo asked her. Yona just could cry and nod her head weakly. "Is that so...? I am truly sorry. It's just hard to believe... Just a while ago, he was smiling and looked so happy... At the princess' birthday celebration." He said while lowering his head and look at the ground.

While they keep their conversation on, Yuriko from the behind, keep cautious and glance at the other way, while panting, her wounds are quite severe. '.... Taking a a blow directly from the famous Thunder Beast is a bad idea... But... I didn't do it on purpose...'

"This leads you to the mountains." Min-Soo lead them to a wooden gate. "Alright." Hak replied with a small nod. Hak then notice that Yuriko didn't participate in the talk at all, he raised an eyebrow, then turn his head back, he widened his eyes when he saw the blood keep dripping from her right shoulder, until her hips, there's little puddle of blood already under her right side.

"Shit...! Yuriko!" Hak immediately ran to her side. This making Yona and Min-Soo turn their head to her. Their eyes immediately widen. "Nee-sama!/Yuriko-san!" They shouted her name in concern.

She then straighten her posture, then give them a smile, "I'm alright. I won't die...." She told them with a calm tone... It's too calm, it feels weird.

"Did you find them?!" Some footsteps come closer to them. "I'll lead them away." Min-Soo said, but Yuriko immediately grab his left wrist. "No.... It will the best if I'm the one who lead them away. I'm injured, if I join Yona-himesama and Hak-sama, then I'll just weight them down." She told him with furrowed eyebrows.

Min-soo then takes her hand and slid them down with a warm smile. "Yuriko-san, you can't, Princess needs you to be by her side.... And I know you are a very strong person, please.... Be safe, Yona-himesama, Yuriko-san." He then immediately ran to distract the soldiers without looking back, "No-" Yuriko tried to grab him, but it's too late, he's already gone. Hak immediately grab Yona's hand and ran to the gate, Yuriko then reluctantly grabbed her katana and ran with them, but she couldn't help but to keep look back, she then saw Min-Soo got shotted by an arrow, then he fall down. 'Min-Soo-san...!' She wants to ran back there and help him, but.... He's right, Yona needs her.... So she only could look forward, then run and run into the woods.

"We'll be killed for sure if we're caught..." Hak said while glancing around. "Where will... ... We go...? Even though.... Father was crying tears of joy... At the banquet... ... I didn't say a word to him. I didn't say... Thank you. This is my father's castle... If father has been overthrown.... Where... Where will I go...?" Yona eyes from emotionless, come back to glistening in tears.
