Chapter 21

〜With Hak〜

"Damn it.... This is tough." Hak panted as he stops digging with his spear for a while.
'How far do I have to keep digging?... No! I'll definitely save them!'

He then hear shuffle behind him, he then turns to his back, he saw the villagers that didn't go in to kill the others look at him.
".... What?" He asked them.
"My... My son was buried..." A woman said this.

"My companions went searching for Seiryuu and were buried. Your family was around that area too, right?" He ask them, then he saw a man whisper to the chief of that village.
"Chief, if we go at it from the outside the..."
"But....."

Hak then wasted no time to swing his spear towards them. "What?" They then fell silent.
"Answer me. You won't gain anything by being secretive now."

"Y... Yes."
"If there's something you know, tell me! My friends' lives are at risk. Hurry up." He points his Hsu Quandao at them with a glare.
"I'm sorry, but..."
"You guys can't keep this act up, alright?"

〜Back with Yuriko and the other〜

Whack whack whack

The Seiryuu, Kija, Yuriko, Yoon and Yona all still digging the wall. Yuriko then raise her eyebrow when she saw Ao lift a small rock that falls beside her when she dig the walls.

Ao then puts it in her mouth, trying to eat it, Yuriko then press Ao's head lightly as she says, "You should not eat it, Ao-san." Then, as if Ao understands her, she spits it out.

Yuriko then smiles a bit, then wipes the sweat on her forehead while pants a little, but then she realise Yona who also digging beside her panting heavily as she keeps digging through the wall. As soon as Yuriko almost call her, she faints to her back, which obviously Yuriko catch her before she falls, but she also stumbled a bit, making her almost fell.

"Nee-... sama..." Seiryuu then catch Yuriko, who also lose her balance when she catch Yona.

"Seiryuu..." Yuriko weakly called his name as he support her to sit.
"Thank you." She smiled at him.

"Seiryuu! Take the princess and Yuriko-san to your room! It should be more easy to breathe than here!" Kija says, even though he seems to be the one who needs more oxygen than Yuriko.

"I'm alright..." Yuriko said this.
"Don't lie and just rest, your fever definitely will be worse after this." Yoon says as he keeps digging.
"... Seiryuu. Please take ojousama to your room first." She nods her head at him, which then he immediately carry Yona to his room without saying anything.

" Yuriko, you should rest, too." Yoon glared at her, which making her sweat drop for a second before then she smiles.
"I will... I apologise, but I will rest for a bit for now. I will be right back." She then stand up and weakly walks to Seiryuu's room.

Before she walks, she turns her head to look at Kija and Yoon, "Please do not overexert yourself." She said this, then leave.

As she walks into the room, she saw Seiryuu gave Yona the fur that attached to his mask, and put Ao on the fur, making Yona laugh a little, then she smiles a bit, before she walks closer to them.

Seiryuu who sense her, turns his head to her, then grab her hand and makes her sit beside Yona, then he starts to look around, maybe he wants to give Yuriko something so she could keep herself warm too, this making Yuriko chuckled a little bit, before her smile become a sad smile.

'.... Even though he is this kind. Why... Why doesn't anyone understand Seiryuu's kindness? He obviously came here because he was worried about the villagers... He always come to protect the villagers in his own way, and yet....'
