I was still in his arms. He had fallen asleep, but I wasn't able to keep my eyes closed. I wasn't able to relax, I had too much on my mind. I tried leaving his grip to go do something else since he was sleeping but he pulled me back onto his chest, not letting me leave.

"Stay here baby," he whispered in my ear. I didn't answer, but I stayed there, in his arms. Of course, I loved cuddling with Bucky, but at that moment it was hard to appreciate the moment since I couldn't get his words off my mind.

Well, it kinda looks like he's winning right now

"Bucky?" He answered with a quiet "mhm".

"Can we talk? About the argument we had?" I said looking at him. He opened his eyes and sighed. He turned around and rested his head in his hand to look at me.

"If we do, will you expect to try and relax and stop trying to get away from me?" He said with a slight smirk. I nodded. "Okay, I'm sorry about what I said. I didn't mean it. Tony won't ever be able to get us to split apart. See," he motioned to how we were right now, "No one is getting between us, literally."

"Right, but what do we do about the mission?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure we can't convince Tony to let me go, but I'm certain that he will let you go if you just talk to him," he told me.

"But what do I tell him?" I asked and he thought for a second.

"Just tell him that you know he won't let me go and you think it's stupid but you'll still go," he suggested.

"Yeah, good idea. I'm gonna go now," I said and began standing up but he pulled me back.

"In fifteen minutes, you're mine right now," he said holding me strongly.

"Fine, fifteen minutes," I said with a chuckle. "And by the way, I'm always yours," i added in a whisper.

I snuggled back in his arms and sighed in happiness. He kept his grip thigh around me. He kissed every little corner of my face and neck while we talked a little about nothing important. He told me that if we ended up both not going on that mission, he would take me out again and I said that maybe I shouldn't go talk to Tony at all if that was the case. He disagreed and told me I really needed to sort things out for both of us. He added I should bring Tony some cookies I had made because they tasted so fucking delicious.

After more like twenty-five minutes, and 5 more minutes of arguing with Bucky so he could let me go, I got up and put my clothes back on to go see Tony. I got out of Bucky's room and headed for the elevator after taking two cookies. I hate on in the elevator. I arrived at Tony's lab and walked in, more quietly than earlier in the morning. I was about to call Tony when I heard two voices. I was about to leave, thinking I would come back later, but I heard my and Bucky's names.

I knew I should've just left. That I shouldn't have listened to the conversation. But whoever they were, they were talking about me and Bucky, so I stayed, hidden.

"Just hear me out on this. They could really help. And now you lost her too on the mission, it won't be easy without the both of them."

"Rogers, I've told her a million times, and I've told you a billion, he's not coming. I don't want him there. And if it means she's not either then fine, we'll deal with it," Tony said.

"Tony, you're acting like a fucking child," it was one of the first times I heard him curse, "you know damn well we need both of them on the team of this mission. Please, grow up for a second and go talk to Miller about it."

"Actually, I'm already here," I said I I stepped closer. "I came down to talk, and well, here I am. Did you want to tell me something?"

"Yes," Steve said.

"No," Tony synchronized.

"Yes, Tony has something to you. I'll leave you two now," Steve argued back and left. I stared into Tony's eyes waiting for him to start talking.

"Why did you come down here?" He started off.

"To talk to you, but by all means, go first," I said it not as a proposition, but as a sort of order. He shrugged.

"I think you should come on the mission," he began. I lifted an eyebrow, waiting for him to continue. He sighed.

"And, if you promise to behave, Barnes could come too," he finished and a big smile spread across my face.

"Are saying you were wrong?" I smirked. He didn't answer for a couple of seconds.

"Yeah, I guess I am," he said, not smiling at all.

"Thanks, Tony, by the way, I came here to tell you I would still go on the mission even if Bucky could t, but I guess this is better," his jaw dropped. He didn't say anything though.

"Here, Bucky said I should give you this. I made them and they're really good," I said handing him the cookie.

"Put it on the desk, I don't like to be handed things," he said and I swear I saw the corner of his mouth curl up for a second. I left, thanking him again.

"It's a really fucking good cookie, Ellie," I heard him shout as I got in the elevator.

"Thanks, Stark," I shouted back as the door closed, a wide smile on my lips. As soon as I got out, I saw Bucky waiting for me on the couch. I had no idea where Nat or Steve was but I didn't mind. When Bucky saw me, he got up and walked up to me.

"That wasn't long. What happened?" He urged.

"When I got there, Steve was talking to Tony, basically trying to convince him to get us back to go on the mission. When he saw me, he left and Tony and I talked, for like not even a minute."

"What did he say? Are you going on the mission?" He questioned.

"No," I started and he looked down. "We both are," I finished and he looked back up and our eyes met. He was smiling and I was too.

"How did you convince him?"

"I didn't have to, I think Steve did. I don't know what he said, but now we're both going on the mission," as soon as I was done talking, he gripped my face and kiss me. I kissed him back, a smile forming on my lips.

"Finally, a bit of action," he said with a smirk.
