"Just take a right here. Okay then straight at the stop sign. Left here. Okay, and just park anywhere." Diana directed.

"Anyone see Kate?" Trevor asked.

"Not yet. Jason, why don't you just stay here. There's no reason to get in the middle of this," she explained.

"Got it."

"Okay. Ready Trevor?"

"No, but I got this." Diana and Trevor got out of the car and started to walk to the diner. Diana pulled out a seat and sat in the same spot from when they met up not too long ago. Trevor wouldn't sit; he paced back and forth.

"Trevor, sit down!" Diana demanded. Trevor looked at her, then sat down. He started bouncing his leg and tapping his fingers. "Okay, Trevor, look at me." Trevor looked at her. "Close your eyes and breathe. Listen to my voice."

"Okay."

Diana spoke calmly, "Breathe. Inhale, and exhale. Feel the anxiety in every nerve in your body, then transfer it to your fingers. Let the tense jittery mood slide off your fingers. Every exhale pushes more of it out from you. Everything is going to be alright."

Slowly, Trevor felt the anxiety leave. He did what Diana asked and he became calmer. "Thank you," he softly said. A black car pulled up and parked. Trevor saw Kate get out of the car and tried to secretly put her handgun behind her back. Trevor tensed, It's only for precaution. I'll be okay, he thought, but his body betrayed him and he started to shake.

Kate walked around to them, Diana stood and hugged her. Kate whispered something, and Diana smiled, but he didn't hear what she said. Kate looked down at him and he had nowhere to go. He felt exposed and vulnerable. He cowered below Kate as her eyes threw daggers at him. Kate sat down next to Diana and she moved her hands to tell him to chill out. "It's been a while, Trevor. You've continually run from me and because of that, your punishment is far worse. I see you took the bait and ended up taking Diana, and it looks like she beat you up for it," Kate spoke with authority and power.

Trevor wanted to speak, but his mouth had become the Sahara Desert. Kate continued, "Now to the point. My family and I have to come to the agreement that we want to kill you. For all the damage you have done, I see no other way to handle this."

Diana's jaw dropped, "Whoa, what?"

Trevor's heart sank and moisture gathered in his eyes. He held them back and sighed. He stood and held out his hands in defeat, ready to be taken away. He couldn't look at Diana, the pain would overwhelm him. Kate signaled one of her men over. The man gestured to Trevor to start moving. Why oh why did I get myself into this mess? I'm sorry Diana, I didn't want you to go through the pain again, he thought. He painfully glanced at Diana before he walked away. He became confused. She was trying to hold in a laugh. Then he looked at Kate, and she was smiling. "What the heck is going on?" he questioned.

"I am sorry Trevor, but I couldn't pass up the offer of tricking you," she said stifling a laugh. She gestured at the man and he let Trevor go. "Your punishment is actually me just humiliating you. I'm not going to hurt you. The offense is in the past, and I forgive you for it."

Trevor stood there knowing what to do next. Diana was snickering a bit. She cleared her throat and said, "I'm sorry Trevor, it was somewhat of my idea to do this. Last night, it was late, but I called her and started talking with her. Dude, she's my best friend. Anyway, we came up with this plan and you played your part so perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better actor. I'm not trying to be mean, but I am a prankster."

Kate laughed, "You have always been a prankster, Diana. Trevor, please forgive me for playing around like this. Lighten up a bit, I thought this was hilarious."
